Hi! Its hard to explain my question because my english is limited but I will try. I got this cat from the street, he was dirty hungry homeless cat. He loved to stay with me and was very active and playfull. Lately he sleep 24/7only wake up to eat something and he dotn eat too much. I feed his with whiskas because my other cat love it. When he go to potty its mostly liquid , he dont wash himself anymore, all he does trying to sleep somwhere but before he like massage with his pawws place where he want to sleep until he fall asleep. Toys and playing seems to be leave him indiferent. Do you think its something wrong and if yes what should I do? I dont want him to suffer, he dont seem like having pains but just very lazy, sleepy tired all the time. Thank you very much for your answer!

It sounds like he needs a check up with the veterinarian. He could have worms, or he could be sick with something. Whatever it is, the vet should be able to help with his problem. He sounds like a nice cat, that is so wonderful that you adopted him!

It sounds like he could be suffering from an intestinal parasite. Could be worms, but I'd guess it's more likely to be "Coccidia". That is cause by unclean living conditions, or unclean litterpans. Since this cat came from the street, he'd be a perfect candidate for this parasite. The vet test isn't expensive and the medication is simple to use and doesn't cost much, either. If you don't get him doctored soon, he could die from dehydration, caused by the diahhrea. He may not be in pain, but he IS SICK!! Good luck..............

Going to a vet would be your best option. Since your cat was on the street, it could have a serious infection. Don't put it back out on the street, though. If it has an infection, it will not be able to defend itself and will die. Good luck to you and I hope that your cat is OK.

Hope I helped!

I would take him to the vet for a health check. Tell them your concerns. They will tell you what his problem is and they'll tell you what to do, if anything is needed to be done. How old is your cat?
