Maybe try a different food, and if that doesn't work, I hate to tell you, but you'll have to go to the vet.

could just be a tummy bug,no food for 24 hours then try a little bit of chicken or white fish, make sure there is fresh water available for her, if it continues after two or three days i would consult your vet. Is it possible she May have drank some milk, that can upset their tummy's and give them the runs. She may not use the litter tray if she feels she wont get there in time, or it could be the litter your using or if you have other cats and they have used it. Hope this is of some help to you. I take it there are no other symptoms and she is otherwise her normal self.

If you gave her canned cat food that had been open for awhile, it could have been spoiled. Put her on dry food only for a couple of days, but give her plenty of water....don't want her to get any more dehydrated than the "runs" have already caused. A lot of times a change of food will cause an upset tummy. Also, she could have an intestinal parasite called "Coccidia", which can only be diagnosed by a fecal test at the vet! Sorry, I know you didn't want to hear that, but that's "life with an animal"! The meds for the Coccidia is not expensive, nor hard to give. Do what's RIGHT for her. Good luck............................

if a recent change of diet, yes that could be it. also, cats with intestinal parasites, bacteria or protozoans can cause the runs and IBD is characterized by runs, throwing up, etc.

many cats will not use a box when they have the runs.

get the cat off that food to the normal food. see if that takes care of it. if not, then... sorry, but you must see a vet. you cannot treat until this is properly diagnosed.

I go with gypsy woo's answer, but give your cat a diet of rice with chicken in it. That usually helps dogs and cats with the runs.
