Well...
My little brother was allergic to cats and we gave the kitty, Cuddles, to our cousins to look after her. After a year, my brother was fine with cats. Today we finally got to go back and see our cousins to get the cat back and celebrate Thanksgiving...but now they say it's their cat and they won't give it back. Actually they put the choice on a 5 YEAR OLD and she says it's her cat, it wasn't mine in the first place, and we gave it to her. She won't be moved. My mom is crying with Cuddles, the other adults don't care, and I am about to cry... they don't care. Please give me something to say to them that will make them change their mind :(

my girl cat is in heat

..my mom was watching her in the backyard, & the cat went around the playhouse for like literally 3 min's

later we found out there was a boycat INSIDE the playhouse

while she was back there we didnt hear her scream or nothing, and we didnt actually SEE the cat back there either but he was INSIDE the playhouse so were worried

could she be pregnant? she still seems to be in heat and screaming but she has stuff on her bum

Hi All
My 14 year old cat has started putting food in her mouth from her bowl and dropping it on the floor without eating then meowing for more. I have tried dry food, which she eats some of then drops and won't eat the food once it's wet. Also tried meat in jelly, she eats the jelly but drops most of the food on the floor, eats bits but leaves most. She is still drinking, has not lost any weight and is fine otherwise. Please give me some suggestions
Thank you very much in advance

at that time,
her body is still warm but seem 'blackout' with her eyes open wide,
i checked for her heartbeat and it was very fast but weak,
my dad said she was hit by a car but no one had witnessed it...
and my dad pick her up from the road with her mouth covered with blood at one side...
and she seems paralysed..
so we assume it was hit by a car...
we did not managed to saved her as she was already getting cold and a bit stiff on her legs on the way to the vet....
no vet clinic was open on that sunday night when we try to find one ...
and i cried the whole week for her lost...
she's been with us and my personal bestfriend for almost 10 years,

then my relative started to ask about her death, COULD IT BE SHE HAD CONSUME POISON OR SO..??
since her body and face was in perfect shape and i did check for any broken ribs or other abnormality after we pick her up, and there's non.
she was seen lying on the road in front of my neighbour house which is under full constructions

My grandmother passed away recently and I have volunteered to take care of her 15 year-old male cat. He is very calm and good-natured by himself, but when I brought him into my home, he won't stop picking fights with my 2 year-old female cat. She doesn't seem to pick fights with him at all, but he is constantly lurking around every corner waiting to fight. He is neutered and she is spayed, so I figured there wouldn't be a big problem.

I don't want to give up my grandmother's cat because no one would adopt such an old cat and he would be put to sleep otherwise. My home has a lot of doorways but no doors (it is a very odd setup) so there is no way to keep them in separate areas of the home. I don't want to lock either of them up in my bedroom. What can I do to help them adjust to one another?

Why does she do this? She still eats, purrs and uses the cat potty. It is a horrible screaming sound. Please help?

as i said, she's 17 years old, and she's about normal weight, and we ahve our computers, some storage, videogames, and catboxes in our basement, basically me my brother, sometimes my sisters, and older brother are down there

she only pees in the cat boxes, but she'll poop in hidden places, and it's beginning to become a health hazard

i figured since she'sld it might jsut be because she's so old she can't hold it in long enough, but if there's a way to get her to stop or somethihg to help ehr be able to keep it in until she gets to the litter box??

I live in a house among tall trees in a large area, almost like a tropical forest. I like it this way because it became a safe refuge for wild animals around, like small monkeys, racoons, birds etc. Still my ex wife left me with a cat and 3 dogs. Now there are 8 cats. I know, they should have been spayed, my budget won´t allow me to do all at once. Fleas are the main problem. Somebody please help me!

We are going to pick up our new kitten tomorrow night and it turns out that there are still three remaining. Will it be better to take a pair, as opposed to having just the one? What are the benefits and pitfalls of having two kittens instead of having one one it's own? Thanks

The mother cat is a outdoor and indoor cat she was a stray that I started feeding a few months ago and did not know she was pregnant she had her kittens in my home and now that the kittens are two weeks old tomorrow, I noticed when I cleaned out the box that they had fleas or ticks I do not know which one but when I put flea and tick stuff on them it killed them right on the spot. Should I be doing this with the kittens being so young? If not what should I do?

My vet didn't give me a specific time. Some sites talk about the first heating period, but that sounds risky, as she goes out in the garden and I can't let her get pregnant. There are already too many stray cats in the street, I'm not sure I can find homes for new kittens.

So, how old must she be to be neutered?

My cat is usually playful and a bit of a hand full at night but more so since I have come back from 2 weeks holidays. My flatmate and I both work fulltime so my cat is left alone all day and sleeps most of the time, so is particularly hyper when we get home. At nights he doesn't let me sleep at all and wants to constantly play, and when I close the door on him he constantly scratches on the door or meows loudly or tears at the carpet on the floor which is slowly falling apart. Please help!

But I have a few questions as to how to do it, I suppose. Currently, I have a Maltese puppy and a 1-year-old cat. The puppy adores any living thing, but my cat is socially awkward, I guess you could say. She doesn't really like any one except my mother, my boyfriend and me. Also, I would like to adopt a kitten from a shelter or rescue place, but the problem is, they don't let people under 18 adopt without an adult present. My mother is very busy and doesn't want to take the time to bring me to a shelter. Is there any one who has any kittens that they would be willing to give me (for a reasonable adoption price, of course)? I am a very responsible 17 year old confirmed animal lover living in Astoria, New York who would love to give a stray a wonderful home. Please help! Thank you.

Is this normal? is there anyway to cheer him up and get him back to normal? the swelling is gone and he is walking more but he insists on burrowing under blankets and staying there all the time if we let him
