Actually there are theoretically infinite half-lives (technically not, as you run out of atoms eventually), but usually the question is how long is the half-life. Since a cat has nine lives, you have to ratchet the number up nine times. And since some cats (usually the most miserable ones) seem to never die and live long past the time you wish they did, it's sounding like it'll be longer than your or my lifetime.

Well, in general, things have infinate half lives, but since it is a cat I would have to go with 81. Not sure but squaring nine lives sounded like a good idea. Maybe its 18 though. I dont know...

I'm no chemistry person, but I would say that the cat has an infinite number of half lives. Cause it keeps cuting in half every time......

It would have thousands of half lives after lasting thousands of years as its real life quickly expired and it's corpse rotted away and leached into our drinking water. So put the bb gun away!
