I feel the quality option to resolve this obstacle is to check out to uncover out why he's urinating far and wide. You must take him in your vet to rule out something like a urinary monitor contamination, or crystals in his urine (which may also be an emergency). If he does not have any clinical disorders then you definitely have got to seem for different causes. Ask your self has something transformed ago few weeks or months in view that you've got spotted this obstacle. Home creation, a cat within the vicinity using him loopy, new furnishings, and so forth. I have labored in a couple of animal hospitals and I have visible the whole thing. Some individuals say to place meals wherein they urinate when you consider that they would possibly not soil wherein they devour, nevertheless, we already realize that would possibly not paintings for him. Another product you'll be able to check out is anything known as feliway. Feliway is a product that is a man-made facial pheromone. The pheromones that it copies are the "joyful kitty I'm going to rub my face on you" pheromones. Anyways, if he's confused via anything this may occasionally support to take the threshold off and support him chill out. I do not know the way many cats you've got however you must continuously have one million extra muddle field then you've got cats. So, in case you have two cats you fairly want three muddle containers. Anyways, I desire that this has helped slightly bit. Good success!!! BTW your nearby vet must have feliway or would support you order a few I'm definite.

Get your cat spayed or neutered. Make sure your cat doesn't have a disease, like a urinary tract infection, as the previous answerer mentioned. Clean all urine in the house, since your cat is likely to pee in the same place when the place smells of urine. You can do this with a product such as Nature's Miracle. If you aren't sure where your cat has urinated, you can detect it with a black light.

If so,he/she truly would require to see a veterinarian for treatment because left untreated this can become life-threatening. Changing her litter type could work or limiting her access could also help. Cats are really difficult. Also, in any spot that its bad or she goes to often, put down some tinfoil...crinkle it a little. They don't like the sound so they usually don't walk on it. Good luck.

After ensuring there isn't a urinary problem, train him to use the litter tray. If there's a particular spot, try placing orange peel there. They can't stand citrus, so it'll keep him away from that spot at least. Make sure to praise him when he uses the litter tray, and after he's eaten or drank, bring him over there.

First, get to a vet to check for a problem. After you determine that all is well, you can try this special litter called "Cat Attract". You can get it at PetSmart stores and online.

It comes with a moneyback guarantee if it doesn't work.

It worked for me.

Is it a boy? It needs fixed.

He's marking his territory. This smells "different" from regular cat pee. It's very strong and has a lingering effect. It is very hard to wash out!

Is your cat prefering to go on certain types of covering ie carpet. If it prefers carpet I would suggest you teaching her to ask to go out. It could be that they perfer certain types of litter, some really hate recycled paper others love it.

Main thing you have to do is keep them out of the places you really cab't afford to have them use... like your bedroom
