any as long as they've grown accustomed to each other. a good dog like a golden retriever (or some breed nicer if you find one) are the best.

A kitten. Because it does not know any better. Kittens want to be friends with everybody. Of course the dog has to not eat the cat. As long as the dog is truly not a vicious killer, the kitten will whip it into shape

any cat can get along with a dog as long as they know the dog for awhile and can trust eachother. like say you already had a dog and your planning to get a kitten or vice versa, they would learn to love eachother because they know eachother and they were raised together as a family.

i believe any cat/kitten will-if your want to be sure purchase a book about the breeds of house cats-or contact your local vet
