After keeping my 3 year old rescue cat in for 3 weeks when I first got her, as you are advised to she had a quick look round the road when I first let her out but now seems content to stay in and use her tray even if I leave the door open for her.

I was curiuos to see what is in all the different dog and cat foods, and I noticed that Royal Canin was the only food I could find at Petco that had only chicken as the first ingredient, and not "chicken-meal" or some other type of meal. Is Royal Canin the best? If not what is?

The mummy has mucus in the corner of her eyes, and so does one of the kittens.

Also, i have heard the kittens sneeze a few times.

Are these normal or whats could be wrong?

I love my babies so any help would be appreciated!

My mom noticed some cryin about a week ago, and when I looked there were four baby kittens inside our porch. The mama cat took three but left one. What can I do for this kitten, don't think it's had any nutrition since.

They're about 20 weeks (4 1/2 months) old. I have a male and a female the same age and litter. I've noticed my male taking more interest in my female lately.. and I'm not sure what age it's safe to have them fixed.. I'd like to have it done as soon as possible, before my male starts becoming teritorial, or my female goes into heat for the first time.

I took my cat to the vet they thought it was ring worm. I had skin tested it came negative. I had blood tests done for (FIP), (FIV),(FELV they all came back negative. The vet gave caden a shot with depo medrol and pills Baytril 22.7 mg.
It went away. came back again and the vet cant tell me what it is.The pills and shots heal it but dont cure it. I just would like to know what it is. The vet cant tell me. Oh yeh and it goes form paw to paws and goes away comes back and it seems not to be tranferable form paw to paw it stays on the paw that it comes back too.
I had fungal culter test it was negative and its only between the paw pads.Thats what i know THANKS AND HAVE NICE DAY

We found the little guy and believe he was only about 3 weeks old. He is now around 6 weeks. We are planning on getting him to the vet within the next 2 weeks, but are just wondering if anyone can give us an idea as to how much we should expect to pay for a surgery to correct this. I have never had to face this with any of my other cats.

I find a laser pen is the best toy for a cat - They will chase that red dot all day - everything else they seem to get bored of.

catnip is works quite well too. anything else ?

***** are these good signs for introducing a new cat ***?

old cat - 8month old spayed female
new cat - 3yr old spayed female

something more to add is that the new cat Will come out of the room and walk around and the 8month old kitten will stare and follow and growl at her but the new 3yr old also gets scared sometimes and runs under the couch thats when the 8month old will follow her under there and growl at her so i dont want the new cat to be scared crapless of our punk 8month old kitten

so today was day 2 for our new cat and so far
*** the younger kitten we already have has now started coming into the new cats room,
***yesterday the kitten sat and played with toys in the new cats room just a couple of feet away from her
**the kitten also sleeps at the entrance of the new cats room and/or closet whenever she is in there
**she dosent hiss but growl and follow the new cat under the couches etc
***she just stares at the new cat and growls sometimes and follows her around

so if the cat just hated her she would just ignore her right? i just need to know that she IS interested in getting to know her and will become friends eventually.

She will not drink out of a fresh bowl set by her food, she prefers to drink out of the toliet, and acts annoyed with me when I put the lid down (like "hello...I need to drink water you know!!") She will try to drink the water out of the footspa, when my friends and I are doing pedicures, (like hot sudsy water is so much more appealing than the fresh, cool water bowl by her food!) She will even try to drink the water out of our tall glasses, and gets her face and whiskers all smashed inside the glass...(most cats I thought avoided sticking their head inside stuff?) Why won't she drink like a normal cat?

I have been housing a few abandoned kittens. Two of the three I have left are males. Occasionally I'll walk into my bathroom and smell a strong odor of cat urine. I do not have their litter box in the bathroom and it usually happens RIGHT after I've spent 1/2 an hour cleaning the bathroom! My kittens are only 9 weeks old, is it possible that one (or both males) are marking their territory? I assumed (or moreso HOPED) that indoor male cats would not do this. What can I do to make it stop?

Hi, a cat had a kitten under my deck in my backyard. He is about 3 weeks old, and he has a weird color body. He has a dark white/light greyish body, and has grey ears, and his legs are white. Does anyone know any good names.

I have a cat that adopted us and ended up she was expecting!!!! Well she had the kittens and I found homes for all of them. But I still have one of the kittens here until his new mom and dad can take him. Mom and the baby are always together. My problem is mom cat wonders around the house with a kitty toy (small pineapple stuffy) meowing constantly with the toy in her mouth!!!! Is she looking for the other kittens, or is she trying to get the one I still have to come to her? She looks a lot like a Himalayan with the blue eyes but less of a flat face....could it be a breed thing? Help she is driving me nuts!!!!

Milli is a rescue kitty, we found her in a wall in January this year. She has plenty to keep her busy during the day at night she is a monster and tears up papers and anything she gets hold of.
I got her toys to play with but they not helping.
Is it her diet maybe making her over active, how often should I feed her.
Milli has a bowl of dry food out 24/7 and two wet meals a day.
thank you in advance.
