I need to know if there is an organization that helps people transport their pets, or of any programs. My whole life will be stuffed into my tiny car, with room only for the carseat. I don't havem uch money to do this, but I really want to keep my cat, and no one can keep her for me.

I have 2 kittens (one male, one female) from the same litter. Both are 8 weeks old. What is the best time to get them 'done'? and should i get the male one neutered first or both together?

We found a brown tabby in November... We know it's a boy, but we don't know the age! He has 5 rings on his tail, but he wont let us check his teeth. He tries to bite us. His stomach doesn't sag, so we think he's still young. And he's really active and playful. My family still says he still has his "baby face" What does that mean? Anyway, I really need help.

Recent headlines showcased a new designer breed of cat bred to look like tigers, named the "toy-ger". What do you think of all that?

I've never dealt with death of any sort. My cat had been sick lately, ever since something happened to his leg that caused him not to use it anymore. We took him to the vet; it didn't help much. He said it would probably go away on it's own. After that, my cat, Smokey, went downhill. He stopped cleaning himself and he lost a lot of weight. I tried buying canned cat-food instead of dry food. He ate much more of the canned food, and would actually get up and run over to it to eat it. I figured he might get better with this new food.

At about 1AM today, I went downstairs to get a drink, and heard him moaning. I went over to him and he was, I think, struggling to breathe. I didn't know what to do so I just sat there with him in disbelief petting him and talking to him. He died a few minutes later. And now, hours later, I wonder if I could have done more to maybe save him. It all happened so fast and now I feel responsible for his death. I'm heartbroken.

What do you guys think?

My female cat pees, in the bathtub and i need to know how to deter her from doing that. We can't close the door, due to ventilation. We do not want to get rid of her, as we love her to pieces, and we will not throw her out either. The pee in the tub is attracting Cockroaches. So how do we permanently stop her from doing this? Adult mature answers would be most appreciated.

Several months ago I began feeding a stray cat in the neighbourhood. He became very used to coming around and I even began letting him in my apartment. For the first three or four months this was fine. Suddenly though, within the past week or so, he's began attacking my other cat who's been with me for eleven years. Obviously, I cannot allow him to do this.

He has unusually conflicting moods. Sometimes he's really sweet and sometimes he's really saucy. He'll cuddle up with you at night and then he'll bite you totally unsolicited.

Some have suggested neutering but he isn't even my cat yet. I wanted to give him a break and take him but I don't want to keep him if there's a risk of him continuing to attack my other cat. What if I go and neuter him and the bad behaviour keeps up?

Some others have said that his behaviour may be a result of being a stray and learning to fend for himself...

Any insights?

I love cats and have had them all my life, i have quite a big house and a lovely size garden, my door has a cat flap allready, i used to work in a cattery for 2 years so have allot of exsperience with cats, and have my pick of any cat's toys.
i have no children and work from home, so it will get all the fuss and attention.

My cat has been acting very strange since he got neutered a month ago. He's much more active and 'hyper' these days (...or hyperactive? lol). He was the complete opposite before. And I thought spaying your male cat would calm them down a bit (besides the many other reasons); not like he needed to be any more calmer, but...
Does anyone have any idea as to why he's become a burst of energy all of a sudden?

We do not know where this creature is from. It comes in through the dog door. It eats my cat's food and makes a mess of it. It has sprayed in my Grandmother's room, my room, the hallway, and the bathroom. It sprayed in our car. It sprayed in our neighbor's house. It got her cat pregnant when her cat got out. I love cats, but I'm about to the point where I want it dead. It sneaks in either when we aren't home, or when we are in rooms that we can't see him. We cannot catch him. We thought about getting a dog door that requires a certain collar to get in and out of, but I don't think my cat would keep the collar on. I could just picture her going outside, taking it off, and hiding it where I couldn't find it. What can I do to keep this cat away from my house? I am fed up!
