Mine does...I tell her to give me a kiss and she bite my cheek, or nose...Its her way to kiss...She loves to be squeezed tight when i hug her, she gives me goo goo eyes....

I say Yes. My cat reacts to hugs by purring immediately. He likes the warmth and I am sure he senses the love from me. My husband gets the cat to kiss his nose. We both kiss he head a lot. He definately knows what love is and he gets a lot of it...but he also gives a lot too. Cats rule.

Umm, well some cats do, mine.. He doesn't like kisses, or hugs.. But he loves to be pet.

Animals are very sensitive about emotions. When we give them hugs and kisses, they feel the warmth and affection that comes with them.

yes i think they understand when we show them affection... I personally think that cats are very sensitive to our feelings and emotions and they almost have a sixth sense for stuff like that....

i just kiss my cat and say give me a kiss and sometimes he will but huggs no but i gotta watch out he dont bite me

I heard that cats have some kind of glands on their heads by their ears that release a scent when rubbed so when they rub their head on you they're actually stamping their property not showing love. They are animals after all, so If you feed them they want you to stick around.

Ofcourse they do..... They can actually feel the warmth coming frm inside us ....Wenever i push my nose near my meow...he starts showing affection n all.. ofcourse they can understand love wen some1 shows it..n they reply 2 it 2...
