My cat has been acting very strange since he got neutered a month ago. He's much more active and 'hyper' these days (...or hyperactive? lol). He was the complete opposite before. And I thought spaying your male cat would calm them down a bit (besides the many other reasons); not like he needed to be any more calmer, but...
Does anyone have any idea as to why he's become a burst of energy all of a sudden?

well he has lost one method of venting his energy. Its surprising that ihes more hyperactive usually cats lose a sense of who they are and are very confused at first. Imagine losing your ovarrys and not knowing why or having anyone to talk to about it. its usually very traumatic for animals to be castrated, At-least hes not in a depression thats good unless hes aggitated as a result of anxety.
