We do not know where this creature is from. It comes in through the dog door. It eats my cat's food and makes a mess of it. It has sprayed in my Grandmother's room, my room, the hallway, and the bathroom. It sprayed in our car. It sprayed in our neighbor's house. It got her cat pregnant when her cat got out. I love cats, but I'm about to the point where I want it dead. It sneaks in either when we aren't home, or when we are in rooms that we can't see him. We cannot catch him. We thought about getting a dog door that requires a certain collar to get in and out of, but I don't think my cat would keep the collar on. I could just picture her going outside, taking it off, and hiding it where I couldn't find it. What can I do to keep this cat away from my house? I am fed up!

Baby, if you had even read my question you would have clearly seen it's not my cat.

Check with your local animal control people and get a trap that you can put inside the dog door. When the cat comes in you've got it. Call the animal control and let them deal with it. If it is wild they will take care of it and if it belongs to someone, they can be given a warning to keep their cat contained or else.

Maybe you can catch the cat and take him to get neutered. That will solve the spraying problem, and maybe he will go home as a result.

Get a live animal trap and remove the offending animal to the nearest shelter.

If you don't think you can get him with a live animal trap, just stick it in front of the doggy door. When he comes in, he's caught. End of cat.

comparable difficulty occurring to me now yet my mum has locked out cats out this is relatively stressful. i think you may get a microchip cat flap yet which would be a discomfort on your cats
