This is a female that is spayed. She doesnt always urinate in the corner, sometimes she goes in her litter box. When she does go in the box she doesnt cover it like most cats do. She gets out of the box and scratches on the bare floor like she is.

He is 6 months old. When he was given to us, his nails were clipped, but that is not enough.

I know I am very sensitive on this because our cat doed because of the pet food poisioning but it really hurts and is offensive to see a great flashing ad for one of the products FDA says killed pets.

I just got him a few days ago from a friend. He's six weeks old. I noticed the first night he pooped, he mewed and seemed to be straining. I also noticed a black raised dot on his anus, above the actual hole. Today, there appears to be more around this. Is something wrong with him? I'm terribly worried. Help please?

Tabby is a female cat and is 11years old.My cat was overweight about 6 months ago. She was put on perscription diet food by the vet. She lost weight and was back to a healthy weight. She always had some kind of snoring problem or congestion in her nose. Recently, she passed away. Luckily I wasn't there to see what happened. My brother saw it and said she might have had a heart attack and died instantly. Is there some kind of diagnosis or treatment that I could have prevented?.... I just cant get over it.

We got our male kitten back in October, he's almost 8 months old now. A little over a month ago, we got a female kitten. She's now almost 4 months old. Our male kitten has been desexed, but our female has yet to go in. She will soon, though. The vet said that they would get along fine because of their age. They do now, and even snuggle up together to fall asleep.

Two weeks ago, there was what looked like urine, underneath the litterbox. However, it stunk terribly so. I cleaned it up, and the days went by without much incident until today. This morning,I noticed our male cat in a strange posture over a pile of clothes set aside to be washed. The clothes were soaked, and I strongly suspect that he's not just going to the bathroom, but marking his territory. Is there any way to combat this? Any tips to stop cats from spraying?

My cat has been producing a type of clear/pink ooze or mucus from her anal regions. Because of money reasons, my family cannot afford to take her to a vet unless we already know what we're getting into. If anyone knows what kind of illness this could possibly be, I'd love this assistance. Its really important that I recieve help or advice as soon as possible.

I think my kitty may have asthma. He coughs alot like he has a hairball but nothing ever comes up.. Then he swallows whatever he coughed up into his mouth(mucus?). When he coughs he stretches his neck out far and low to the ground. I have called the vet and they gave me tips on hairballs...but I don't think this is a hairball situation! He is not getting any better. Can anyone help?

Some unknown source left a litter of kittens on my doorstep.

What should I feed them? Can I give the kittens the KMR formula, have it at room temperature, and feed them through a forced plastic feed or a bottle? They are already nursing off my ear lobe.

For serious animal lovers only...no jokes please.
