My friend said his cat got ahold of pain medication(aspirin)and his cat passed out....and I know aspirin can kill cats,and he says he revived the cat via CPR.Is this possible?mouth to mouth chest compressions..I want to prove him wrong but dont know the truth.

It is certainly possible to do CPR on a cat- it is not even very hard.

It is also true that aspirin can kill a cat, but a small dose will often just mess it up- it is possible that CPR could help in this case.

I think this is a rather odd story. Some guy knows enough and cares enough about cats to do CPR on it, but still lets it have access to aspirin? Does he know for sure it was an aspirin issue? Did he see the cat eat the aspirin?

Sounds fishy to me, but you may as well let him have his fantasy.

its mouth to nose with a cat. aspirin thins the blood so I doubt CPR would help.

if the cat ate the aspirin it's dead...and no you can't do CPR on a dead cat and bring it back to life...
