My vet had me feed my cat boiled hamburg with rice while he was having that problem. Also recommended giving him a little unflavored yogurt for the active cultures.
The boiled hamburg and rice is easy to digest, but has protien to help bind him up. The active cultures in the yogurt are most like the beneficial bacteria that is supposed to aid with digestion (which gets lost when the diarrhea continues, and continues). IT WORKED. It took a little over a week for my cat to get better so that I didn't have to boil any more hamburger.

Yes, cat's are lactose intolerant, but yogurt has active cultures so it's different than milk, and you're only giving the cat about a tablespoon.

Yogurt does help. Try it yourself. If you have diarrhea once, eat some yogurt and it stops. Works very well most of the time. I wouldn't have known it if the vet hadn't of suggested it for my cat.

Hope your cat feels better

I don't know if you heard but there are a lot of cat and dog foods being withdrawn. The problem is is that there was some sort of disease in the food. Also there was found rat poison in the food. Check online for the list of the brands of foods that have been affected. Take your cat to the vet meanwhile and keep them on natural feeding aka cook his food yourself.

Provide plenty of water, but in all truth, diarrhea isn't something to ''wait around'' on. Cats can easily get dehydrated, so an IV would probably be the best bet, until the reason is found. Consult a vet!

Take your cat to the Vet. This is often a sign of bigger things. You really should go to the vet.

Take the cat to the vet to be on the safe side. Your cat is losing fluids and your cat can get very sick.

Could be renal failure in light of what's going on with wet food. If it isn't, a very small dose of Kaopectate will do.
