This poor starving tomcat came to our backdoor. He was starving and in very bad condition. We fed him and took him to the vet to be checked and neutered. He was the friendliest cat I had ever seen. Now he is getting plenty of proper food and shelter but he is no longer that affectionate cat.

We love cats, we have five indoor cats - but, the outdoor strays must sense them living here because they hang out carousing, spraying under windows and doors, which makes MINE do likewise, except on my rugs, etc! I heard sprinkling blood meal outside helps, but that sounds a little gross. Am looking for a "humane" solution!

My cats have been unable to go outside because of the bitter cold. Since they're stuck inside all day I was wondering if there were anything fun for them to do that i could provide.

My friend says that lately her male cats are getting rather close, and that Tom is always holding Oliver's neck down and the other end doing a similar sort of thing, does anyone have any idea what could be going on?

when my two cats are waiting for their food, they slap one another. they sit on the windowsill and hit each other in the face with their paws.i wonder why do they do that? is it for attention from me cos they stop when i shout at them, they are sisters from the same litter./otherwise they seem to get along just fine and dont fight.

My friend just had a baby, but before that she had a male cat and 3 female cats. The male cat had a habit of Spraying and my friends is not the greatest house keeper, so her house smells really bad. I thought maybe she would get around to cleaning up the mess after the baby got here but baby has been here 2 months now and the Male cat has been gone 3 months - but the house still smells - like bad. And I was just wondering if that smell was harmful to babies in any way? I mean you would think she would notice the smell but maybe she doesn't care or she has just gotten used to it?

Plus any one got any tips on a nice way to tell her that her house smells like Cat pee?

My cat Gracie (11yrs old) and I are moving in with a friend temporarily who has her own cat Piper (4 years old).
Both are female and declawed. We tried introducing them and Piper flipped out. How do we start introdcing them so they can live in the same house and not hate each other?

My cat, Odie, is full of energy and loves to climb on the furniture in my apartment. It wouldn't bother me, except the furniture is leather and cost $3000 (I didn't pick it out, my boyfriend did). We got her declawed in the front but those back claws still leave some nasty marks. We just got a dining room table and she thinks it's her new playground. We've kept her off pretty well by laying scotch tape upside down on the table and chairs so if she does jump on the table she gets tape on her paws. However, she still jumps on the leather couch and love seat. A spray bottle wouldn't help because enough harm's come to the leather and I wouldn't want to cause more by getting it wet everytime she jumps onto it. We can't put upside down scotch tape on it because, well, we need somewhere to sit! We've tried popping and saying no. What are some other ways?
And her flea problem is horrible. How can we get all the fleas off of her and out of our apartment? (We've tried Dawn dishwashing soap)
