My kitty meows like crazy at night time when I am sleeping. She is only 4 months but could she be in heat already? I heard that they usually don't go in to heat until 6 months! Help, she won't shut up and I can't sleep!!

One of the semi feral kittens I have been keeping in our "pet room" got out because my stupid husband left the door unlocked and they know how to get out. It may have gone into the air vent (that my husband never fixed). It doesn't come when called anyway. I put tuna out, Nothing.

We live upstairs in a house, and the lower half is rented (they aren't home).

My husband is in a class the place he works requires, with his phone off.

I don't drive, I'm having a panic attack with shortness of breath, dizziness, and hives all over my back.

My cell is almost dead
and
If the kitten gets outside it will run away.

What should I do???

The vet costed over $200$. What should she do. The lady next door said the dog didn't "finish" the job. They both have farms. What recourse does she have?

My cat takes 8 hour naps. I thought a cap nap was supposed to be something short? Cats sleep forever.

The vet said that he was overweight and needed to lose a pound and a half, so we put him on a diet. We've been taunting him a bit, especially my husband, probably even more when I'm not home about what a fatty he is.

Do you think he now has an eating disorder?

Just last night, we found that he full force PUKED on the WALL! It is nasty. Never saw anything like that, I kid you not... on the WALL! Anyone else ever hear of a cat doing that?

My mother in law passed away on frid,No one is left in the house. there are several house guests due to the funeral etc. she has2 cats, 1 female calico 13 yrs,and the other male 1 or 2. We have a female calico 5 years and a male about the same age. We was thinking of taking the older cat, but her cats are out doors and ours are indoors. the female is use to my husband and have a very large house for all. but How if i can retrain the older cat to be indoors. or will that be a problem. (seperating them for a few weeks to get use to each other is not a problem} I just want to make sure the cats are provided for. a family member is taking the younger one already. I think she would probably want us to have her. and do you think the our calico and her calico will have issues, as well indoor outdoor??

I have tried using a spray bottle and that didn't work and I have tried grabbing his scruft and laying him down and telling him no but that doesn't work either. So I am kinda running out of ideas and I don't want to hurt him. But it's getting to the point where people are asking me why I have to many scars on my feet and legs... it's just not good.
Any advice?

for one thing, i've only got two...while he's got FOUR

for another thing, when i do it, it's an accident. he just doesn't even care!

and for the last thing, proportionately speaking...if he were my height, he'd easily be 4 stone heavier than me.

he needs a serious attitude adjustment.

My daughter came to live back home recently and brought her 5 month old kitten along too. We have two middle aged cats of our own (neutered male and speyed female), and although neither of them were too keen on the newcomer, they are much more tolerant of him now. I am concerned that his behaviour towards the older two is still quite aggressive, and that he will only really change his attitude when he is neutered. He 'calls' to other cats when he gets bored or when the older two ignore him. Is it time to have his jewellery removed! Any suggestions?

Since the Bernard Matthews 'Bird Flu' breakout in its sheds. Can turkey cat food contain it or are our kitties safe, discuss.

He was perfectly fine until yesterday, eating and drinking regularly. Yesterday he just out of nowhere started looking really thin, he is breathing really heavily and rapidly, and he has no appetite. He wasks around very slowly and acts as though he is guarding his belly or something. I am trying to find a vet for him right now, but I myself am stuck in the house with a horrible flu. I need something for him... poor thing looks like death warmed over.

If your cat goes outside, or you're considering allowing it, please read this entire list. Then be honest with yourself, and answer this one question truthfully: can you absolutely, 100% prevent every one of these things from happening to your cat?

* Injury from a fight with another cat (or other animal). A bite-wound abscess can cost a couple of hundred bucks to treat, not to mention that it's very painful to the cat.
* Diseases from other cats, such as Feline Leukemia, FIV (feline AIDS), distemper, rabies, toxoplasmosis.
* Injury or death by car, truck, motorcycle or other moving vehicle. Even a bicyclist can injure or kill a cat (and if the cyclist is injured in the accident, you may also be privileged to pay her large medical bills, not to mention replacing the bike!)
