Have a look on the Whiskas website there are some great tips. You could also apply for a free kitten care kit, you will recieve some free kitten food with a folder that is like a mini album, that they send updates for. Found it very useful.

While some cats will eat anything (and everything), you should give your kitten only food made for cats. A good cat food will provide all the nutrients the cat needs for good health. If you want to give your kitty a treat, make it one of the many treats for cats.
Feeding a cat "people" foods may be harmful. Indeed, there are many foods and plants that are toxic for pets.
I have one cat that begs shamelessly for whatever I am cooking or eating. The one time she got into the garbage and ate some leftover chicken, she threw it up.

Ya ya...........has a great list. Best to stay away from any processed human food - meat in cans (especially tuna), any cooked food with onions (spaghetti sauce etc.), deli meats which are shot through with sodium.
Egg yolks are fine - such as from a poached egg and actually good source for Vitamin A which cats can't make in their bodies - the whites of eggs are not advisable.
NEVER any human medications unless first approved by a vet. There are vets now actually precribing the NSAID metacam which in an FDA study was found to very toxic to cat's livers.

Your kitten only needs to be eating Kitten food. For all kittens under 1 year of age, they need only the nutrients found in specially formulated food for kittens. If you want to spoil you kitten, you can feed him soft canned kitten food. Please DO NOT feed kittens or cats anything other that food that is made for them. It may not cause immediate problems, but it could cause cancer and other life threatening diseases.
Also you may notice that the people food you are giving your kitten is giving him diarrhea. That is a BIG problem for a kitten and could cost you a ton of money in vet bills and antiobiotics to fix his digestive track.

Chocolate is bad, as well as dog food! Dog food lacks a certain nutrient cats need that dogs don't. It could be very harmful to your cat. Cats also need vegetables as well as meats...mine used to like green beans.
Believe it or not, tuna can be harmful because of the levels of mercury. Milk can cause diaherra .
Also, never give aspirin (or any human medications) to your pet.
Hope this helps!

Never feed your cat a Chevrolet, a desk, 200 pounds of tainted beef, dirty socks, the deed to your house, coins, toenail clippings, other cats, the Sunday newspaper, the TV remote, it's own feces, and about ten million other things. Food only. Preferably only cat food as it is specifically formulated to their dietary needs.
