Try looking in the free ads of your local newspaper. There are lots of ads for free kittens/cats in my local newspaper.

try looking for a kitten instead (HINT:its a cat only younger, srry just had to say that) look on flyers and local newspapers and simply ask the person who owns the litter of kittens what the personality is like cuz you don't want a cat that's the devil himself. also ask about health you don't want the most unhealthy cat of the litter(however adopting the runt is A-OK. my almost year old cat Moonlight was the runt of her litter and she is healthy just a little small). obviously looking for physical feature is easy just look at the pictures of the cats or the cat itself if you are visting it. All cats are cute but that's my opinion cuz i'm a true cat-lover. but you'll know a cute cat when you see one. if you want a small cat make sure it's not unhealthy and take extremely good care of it since it will be weaker than average sized cats.

Instead of looking for a free cat, look for a nice shelter that has a good price on cats that either are already spayed/neutered or they will spay/neuter in the future (price included). These cats will be up-to-date on their shots and sometimes you can even find a cat who has been declawed, if that is something you are interested in. This way, you can pay one price and get everything you need for your new kitty - and save money to buy more toys - and you will be sure that your kitty is healthy.

Check out http://www.petfinder.com/ for a shelter near you - they have photos of cats available and everything.

Check your local humane society or animal shelter. There are always plenty of adorable cats and kittens there waiting on good homes.
Good luck with your new baby!!

Do you have a problem with it being psycotic? I have a psycotic one I'll give you. He's small, fluffy and cute, but you could lose a hand if you touch him.

I have many you can have for $15 adoption fee. They already have been spay/neutered and up to date on their shots.
