I have a 4 month old kitten who we've had since a week before xmas and a 2 yr old cat (both males). They get on very well but as you'd expect, the kitten wants to play all the time. When they are using their back feet, are they just playing? The 2 yr old has just started wrapping his front paws around him to get hold of him or he holds him down on the ground. There's no noises usually though. They bite each other a bit too.I just don't want either to get hurt! Are they just playing?

how big do they get and how much will/could he weigh in a few years.
one lady i work with told me she had one that was like 38 pounds....and he wasn't that fat...?

I have two male kittens (9 and 9 1/2 months of age). at first, they shared one litter box. but then they got into a territorial war and pooped all over my white carpet.

we now have two kitty litter boxes, but they smell terrible.
we clean them regularly (every or every other day.)
how do i get them to not smell so bad...

I have a cat that for some reason won't seem to stop chewing through the computer cords. We already got a cord protecter to stop her from messing with the internet cord, but she can still mess with the speaker cords & there are visible bite marks. How do I stop her from chewing up the cord? We aren't going to get rid of the cat and kicking her *** won't help because I know she doesn't know any better. I'm thinking either wrap the cord with duct tape or cover it in hot sauce so she'll learn not to do it again. Any other ideas?

My kitten has had diarrhoea in my bath, basin and on the bathroom floor.....its DISGUSTING! I have a severe vomit phobia and am TERRIFIED of catching a bug from him. He hasn't been outside yet and seems OK in himself.....but it was foul. Any advice? I cleaned everythin up with bleach and disinfectant and wore gloves.

He's been doing this for quite a while... and I'm not sure what his problem is. It isn't fleas b/c he's been checked and I think it might be an anxiety disorder. He constantly over-grooms and bites the hair off his hind legs, his abdomin, and some parts on his front legs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

She gave birth to 4 cute kittens but i wasn't there to watch her because we never found where she was hiding and it was at night. Well the next morning she came to us and told us to follow her and we found the surprise! But when i lift them up to pet them i saw they still have their cord on. You noe the belly cord. Do i have to do something about it like cut it or just leave it there?
Please help!

For the past couple of days, my usually laid back cat has been acting strange. He's 1 1/2 years old and has been raised from 7 weeks old in our house. He goes out some too. Anyway, he's been acting afraid of the tv for some reason. He sits under the table ears laid back looking at the tv like he's scared to death. We aren't watching anything different from always. I'm worried about him. What could be wrong?

I adopted a Cat several days ago from our local SPCA. I also have a three year old Miniature American Eskimo. The Eski is not rough with the cat, and just tries to give him a good sniff. The cat however, does not approve. The Cat will Hiss and growl...He hasn't lunged at the dog or anything, but I do want them to get along. Both of them are Males. The dog is Neutered, and the Cat has an appointment to be neutered on Friday. Any help? I tried introducing them by putting the cat in a carrier and then taking him out and letting the dog sniff the empty carrier..That didn't work!

Hello,

My fiancee and I just bought a hosue and will be moving in together shortly. She is not a 'cat person', but does think my cat is very cute/lovable. She said she was OK with the cat living with us, but now has changed her mind. She claims that the cat startles her, cannot live with the hair/smell, and is mildly alergic (when she gets hair in her eyes).

I really do not want to give up my cat under any circumstances and am trying to come up with some sort of comprimise. She is an indoor cat who's spent her whole live inside (but looking out the window). The house has an enclosed back yard and I'm thinking about getting an electric fence and letting her roam out there. My financee said to let her do that + 'live' in the garage. I would really like to give her some sort of access to the house, but me fiancee really is opposed to it.

Does anybody have any ideas? comments? similar experiences or stories they can share with me? I'm trying to find a compromise here :) thank you!

the sink. He will sit on the edge of the counter in the bathroom & kitchen & just stare into the sink, like there is something there.

There is nothing not even a drop of water in the sink. Can he hear sounds coming from the pipes that we cant hear? Its kinda weird.

Thanks for your help.

We used to think it was funny and call it his lick spot, but now there is a spot that the vet shaved about 8 monthes ago and when ever you pet him there he frantically licks himself and even bits himself. I don't want to see the poor little guy hurt himself. WHy would he do this and how can I stop it?

She spends a lot of time on my bed, being her friendly, loveable self, and she keeps me up a lot of the time. Is there anything I can do to get some sleep. I can't kick her out of the bedroom because of our other cats. Please help. I need more sleep than I currently get.

I want to ask you people why you think it's ok for your cats to pee and poop in my garden? There's nothing better than digging through the garden and finding the treasures your little darlings are leaving for me.
