Aww, poor kitten. Take him into the vet - it could be an eye infection, or a cold, or even something as harmless as allergies. BUT only your vet can tell you for sure! All of these are easily treated - but don't give him any medication that the vet doesn't prescribe/recommend!
And the other person is right- he'll need to start on his kitten shots soon, anyway, so get to the vet.

Take your cat to the vet. It has an eye infection. Keep the eye clean by using a warm cloth and gently wiping the corner of its eye. Make an appointment to see the vet.

Sounds like it's time for a visit to the vet. This is probably the start of an URI. He will need an antibiotic. In the meantime, keep the eye clean and wash your hands.
Your kitten needs to see a vet anyway for vaccines and deworming.

I think all cats get goopy puss in the corner of their eyes, but if it's blood red, than you should DEFINITELY consult a professional. If it turns out to be perfectly normal, then here's a way you can get it to let you wipe off the goopers: Tell it "goopers" or something every time so (s)he'll know what you're going to do, gently wipe the crap out of their eyes with a tissue, then say with a positive tone "handsome boy/pretty girl" so (s)he will learn that you're trying to help them.

Your kitten has an eye infection, and unless you have her seen by a vet as soon as possible she will loose her eye.

Never give your cat meds with out asking a vet first. Tylenol and aspirin can kill cats. It's possible your cat has upper respiratory it's like the flu for humans and you sould take her to the vet
