i would like to be able to leave my cats for a few days without worrying about them - to see my children and ghrand-child, and i can not stand anyone else near my cats as the are all only used to me and my carer any where near them. two of my cats (oldest ones) are not anyone else feeding them and they won't eat for anyone else but me - and me alone.
i have got 7 cats, they are my children.
fat cat - he is 8-9 years old,he is handsome (in my eyes), he has no bottom jaw; but he hides it very well. he has got eczema.
Gismo -she is ab obout 7-8 years old. she is my wild one. she is very lovable towards me and she can only play rough with me - as she scares everyone else.
la la & Pooh - they are sisters. la la is a mother of my next 2 cats. pooh is my baby.
ozzy &Reefer - sister and brother. children of La la. they are about 2-3 years old.
charlie - she is nearly 1 year old. she is funny charactor, she is just a bundle - but adorable.

I've recently set up a website aimed at getting some kitties that live on the street near my place into homes. It has live streaming video of the kitties needing homes at night, and my kitties in the day. For awhile I was getting a good response, but now it's quietened down, and I need to figure out how to get it happening again as I've already taken 3 months off work for the project and really need to get some of these kitties into forever homes! Ideas?? It's for a good cause...I"m paying for the desexing, vaccinations, aids & FelV testing etc.... the site is http://www.kittiesinthehood.com
Please don't post negative things like bringing them to a shelter...I am rehoming them whether you like it or not! And the rescue groups have helped as much as they can.
I have already adopted 8 myself, and really need help with the other 12!

He keeps chewing on it. Could it get tangled up in his stomach?

My kitten is rowdy and very active. Is there anything I can do to keep him out of my Christmas tree before I decide to cancel the whole season?

I've had a lot of cats in my lifetime, but my 3 year old cat is the first one I've had who has bad breath. It's unbearable!

I will be switching cat foods soon. As soon as this bag runs out, no more Whiskas! But, I don't know if that is the problem.

I have seen breath fresheners for dogs, but none for cats.

I am going to mention it to her vet next time I take her in to see if it is feline halitosis. I have heard of people brushing their cats' teeth, but my cat would never, ever let me do that. Is there anything I can do to freshen her breath at home?

Thanks!

P.S. Feel free to chuckle if you would like. I know I would. :-)

I recently had to put my kitten down after she had her ears treated for mites. I was reading up about the symptoms and think she had ivermectin toxicity with the symptoms of "wobbly kitten," dilated pupils, weakness, and incoordination.

I adopted her from an animal shelter. Is it possible that they also gave her some medicine that had ivermectin in it (to treat fleas)? I took her to the vet a week later and she was given topical ivermectin in her ear. Soon after she started showing the symptoms of weakness etc.

I took her to the emergency vet and they thought it was neurological and we decided to put her to sleep. I did some research online today and discovered a few articles about the toxicity.

I'm planning on confronting the vet that gave her the medicine to begin with -- because he really should know what happened to this kitten.

Any advice you can provide would be helpful.

My cat has not moved much for 3 whole days. i am not sure if it has moved during the night... I think it is dehydrated, because i made it move and it went to go drink then went to the litter box, went to go drink, and pooped on the carpet.

I gave it a little bowl of water and it drank some of it. is there any way to help give it more water without having to force it into the cat? has anyone else dealt with this problem?

Also, i do not want to take her to the vet if possible.

Four days ago my kitten developed a swollen lip. He seems fine and eats good. Wondering if while wrestling with our other cat he got bit?

It doesn't seem to be getting worse, how long should I wait before a vet visit?

Also, is there anything I can put on it. It's not draining and no puss.

I have 4 cats, 2 5 months old, 2 20 months old. The littlest boy who is 5 months knows how to use the litter tray but still widdles everywhere else. Including memorably the bed when I was in it and now the back of the sofa.

He's a happy little cat, gets on well with the others and us and the vet says he is healthy. Any tips on how to get him just to use the tray?

He is only 4 months old and has already dropped and developed all of his little boy parts (cats usually do not drop until they are about 6 months.) He's growing fast as well, I think his hormone levels are higher than a normal male cat of 4 months. He's CONSTANTLY running through the house, attacking our company and climbing the christmas tree. There's honestly no end to his behavior. When corrected he just attacks us and bites us. How do I calm him down? What is the age most kittens can get fixed?

I found this stray cat last week that i plan on keeping.I brought him to the vet and had all his shots done and had him wormed. The problem is for the last 2 days he has had diarrhea and has had a few accidents around the house. He has a litter box and uses it for the most part but sometimes he acts like he wants to go out to go to the bathroom. When he does this and i don't let him out he has a accident on the floor. It's like he forgets how to use the litter box.He mostly has pee accidents but has pooped in the house too becuase he could not get out.Why would he do this? I clean his litter box everyday to keep it clean.

Whenever she gets off a newspaper, I see these little black spirals that she leaves behind. What kind of parasites are these and how do I get rid of them for good?

i think it is soo unfair that if you run over a dog its like you get sued!
But if you run over a cat you just throw it in the ditch.

If you have ever done that please say so.
