I found a stray cat and cared for it since its mother died(I don't keep it in a cage, I let it go anywhere it wants to go). I went for a vacation for about three days and when i came back the cat started acting wierd. It doesn't want to eat and stops following me. Does anyone know the problem?

I saw a drop or two of blood in my 3 month old himalayan kitten. Its my first time to own a cat. I gave her wet food 2 days ago and this morning, her "poo" was like a bit watery... its like diarhea... and then as ive said it has a little blood on it... is it an allergy? it couldnt be worms because she has just been dewormed 3 weeks ago... should i take her to the vet right away? or should i give a few more days..? she doesnt look like shes in pain. shes still active like she use to be...

also, her poo has this yellowish mucus/..

We got these two kittens at the same time they are about 4 months old. And ever since we got them they have been going to the bathroom on the carpet. We have tryied putting the cat box right next to their "favorite" location but they still choose the carpet. And we have to choose the covered cat box cause the dogs will eat the cat poo. as they do now when its on the carpet.

I have a 3 month old kitten, and the neighbors boy kitten is maybe 1 month old, I am wondering when he would start to try to mess around with her, we are planning on getting mine fixed within a few months, should I be worried yet? Because they play everyday for a few hours.

My male cat was acting really funny and I thought since he went outside a lot he might have gotten into a fight. It turned out he had FUS, urethral blockage, renal failure, Azotemia. He was in extreme pain. On my way to the vet with him yesterday, he got away from me and ran down the road and hid in one of the drainage areas in the street. I had to check all of the drainage holes this morning and finally found him too sick to even move. This is what the doctor told me he had and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this horrible disorder?

My cat has this thing about the dryer. She jumps in everytime I open it. Even if the clothes are wet inside, she just has to jump in and check it out. What fascinates her with the dryer so much? I always check for her before I turn it on but sometimes I have to take her out of 3 or 4 times while I'm loading or unloading it.

Hi all,

We took in a stray kitten during the summertime around August. It has grown considerably colder since then because we live around the greater Boston area.

The kitten, about 5-6 months old, is now living in an outdoors porch that is completely walled and insulated but not heated. It maintains a temp of around 50 degrees these days.

Will the cat feel okay in that type of environment? Sometimes the temperature in the porch dips to around 45 degrees, but we have a very small heater next to his bed.

The kitten is so used to being out in nature that we put one of those small pet doors so he can go out to take care of business or just play around for a little bit before he gets cold and comes back in.

Any help will be much appreciated, thanks all
