I have two cats, both female and about 4 years old. One is named Star, and the other is named Zania, after a Lemurian Goddess. Zania looks like she might be a pure birman, but I have not had a chance to verify that yet, she just looks like pictures I have seen of that breed. My fiancee has two male cats. One is called Jasper (after his favorite type of rock), and the other is a Siamese called Pretty Boy.

My cat's name is actually Eartha Kitt- Kat. She is a Himalayan. When we got her 16 years ago the old Batman series was on television. My son loved how Eartha Kitt had such a purry voice he named our cat after her.
My friend Ellen's black cats are: Raa and Soma. I'm not sure the mythology their names came from.
And each of our kitty's answer to their names.
