it is possible for your cat to get worms from eating flies, I am unsure how often this happens, but if you see white things in her poop take her to the vet. My cat eats flies sometimes and she is totally fine. Just keep an eye out for odd behavior but she should be fine

Your kitten will be 100% fine, if not better with the good source of protein and vitamins in that little fly's body.

It's perfectly fine! It's also a fun game, catching the bugs is a good way of allowing the cat to display it's normal hunting behaviors without hurting more...developed animals (sorry flies!)

I once had a cat that ate a bumble bee. I wasn't afraid the bumble bee would hurt her, but I couldn't figure out how the bee got into my apartment, and it freaked me out a little. Then, another one got in, but I didn't let the cat play with that one, because I sprayed it with bug spray, then threw it away. But, the cat was fine. I know that flies are different in that flies are so dirty, but cats disinfect with their saliva.

Yeah...actually flys have a good source of protein in them so it's ok.

Do not be worried! It is ok. Probably better than all the junk in most canned cat food anyway. Your cat should be fine. Do you have any idea of the things that crawl in our mouth while we sleep? It does not bother us. Hope you are better now. Take care

Cats love to catch and eat flying bugs... great for killing moths and flies in the house. Mia does it all the time, watch her hunt them is a kick.

It's normal and healthy for cats to eat bugs, as long as they're not a stinging or biting kind that can hurt her.

It should be fine. Cats eat worse things, and dogs eat the worst things- but don't get sick most of the time.
