Dry food is the best. Buy a good quality kitten food and look at the bag's instructions for how much to feed.

Some cats will never overeat. But some will. Obesity in pets is a very serious issue because it leads to serious health problems and it is harder for them to lose weight than it is for us.

Any other doubts, ask your vet.

If you feeding it Dry food It will most likely not over eat. However caned the size of a Tuna fish Can a day or little more. But depending on the size of that kitty you should go by that and many Cat Foods have the amount printed on the product...

Be Nice to kitty and pet it gently...You will have a friend for life...

Most cat books I've read and sometimes instructions on cat food packets recommend feeding twice a day. The important thing is to be consistent with mealtimes. Some cats will do fine having dry food readily available to them all day, to eat as much as they want, when they want but others will overeat. Observe your cat and see how much the cat regularly eats when fed freely, and watch to make sure it is not gaining too much weight. Overeating is not good for a kitty cat since it can be related to similar problems with obesity that humans have - lethargy, diabetes, etc. I feed my cat 2 or 3 cans of cat food (smaller cans) per day. He used to eat more dry food when he was younger but now that he's about 10 years old he prefers the moist food. His teeth checked out fine on his last checkup BTW so at least I know its not that.

This really depends on the type of food you're feeding him (wet, dry, even brand may differ). You will get the truest answer by simply reading the directions on the can or bag! It'll tell you how much is best to feed him, by weight (or age) so that he'll be healthy, get all the nutrition he needs, and NOT get overweight ;)

Cats are pretty smart, though. If he eats dry food, just make sure he always has food available and he'll eat when he's hungry -- and won't overeat. Cats tend to overeat wet food a bit, and it can spoil, so be sure to check the package and feed him the recommended amount if he eats wet or canned food.

You should feed your kitten about twice as much as a normal full grown adult cat. This is because a kitten has a very small stomach, so it digests its food more quickly than adults. also, a kitten needs alot of nutrients to grow and develop properly. My advice, if it's wet food: about 1/2 a can in the morning, and a half a can in the afternoon. WARNING!! Be careful not to feed your cat too much wet food or your cat might get a little diarrhea or a tummy ache. If its dry food, make sure it's Kitten food and you should feed him about a full cup of kitten food everyday. Note: Make sure your cat has fresh, clean water twice a day and thoroughly wash the kitten's food and water dishes once a week to prevent bacteria from harming your little one. I hope my advice helped and Good luck!!!!

As much as it will eat of a good quality kitten food. Kitten food is important because it is higher in calories than adult cat food. Kittens need extra calories because they are growing. Therefore, I suggest you allow your kitten to eat as much as it likes. Later on, when it's older you can go to feeding twice a day.

With all my kitties i have just let them free feed, which is just always having food in a dish for them :) I find it the easiest non-stress way to feed a feline :)

Half a can of catfood per day is a good rule ,however young animals need more food so if she wants a little more give it to her but keep in mind they get fat quite easy so later on you may want to cut back

I read that kittens will only eat when they're hungry and should always have dry food available so they can eat when they need it. The bag will have amount guidelines on it too.

Kittens should have food and water available at all times. They grow so fast it is very necessary.
