I have a cat I have had since I was five years old. He is almost 11. He is fixed and is in good health. I used to let him in and out, but he fights other cats too much so now I keep him inside with my 3 year old inside cat. How long do you believe he will live? I have had him so long that it is going to be really sad the day he dies. Almost like losing a little brother. Please tell me some info.

What does it mean a when a stray, injured cat mews constantly at a human? Tail down, head level or down, neither advancing nor retreating. Is it a plea for help or a warning to leave it alone?

My cat loves them. I think it's something about the smell or the juice. He'll rub himself in it.

I have 2 female and 2 male cats. The two females have matted fur, one of them very badly. They do not go outside, so they can't really get very dirty. They are all "fixed", but one of the males mounts the female cats. I know this is kind of gross...but if he is fixed can he ejaculate? and could that be what is causing their fur to get so matted? Thanks if you can help with this.

The older one is a female and I've had her for about two years. I just got a male kitten, and they fight when ever they see each other. Well, maybe I said that wrong. The female picks on the male, and stalks him, hisses and growls when he comes near or eats out of her food bowl. How can I help them get along?

Is there such a thing as obedience school or something of the sort that could actually help assist training for cats?

Seems a bit odd I know, but other than booklets, I was just wondering if there was something out there to make it easier to train my two kitties.

Does anyone have more problems with a small cat vomiting more often after eating larger portions of food? My cat is five or six years old and is small for his age (must have been the runt of the litter) and it seems as though he will vomit if he eats more than a few morsals of food at a time.

we just got a new kitten a couple of days ago and my older cat (that weighs 21 pounds) 'plays' with it. he follows the kitten around and then bites her on the neck. i don't think he is biting very hard, because the kitten does not squeal or anything, she just plays along. is this normal?

a few months ago some idiot just dropped off some kitties and they have been hanging around our land.one in particular i would love to have as a housecat.i don't know if this one was dropped off or is a result of other cats breeding.this cat comes every night to my porch to be fed and sleeps there all night and is gone during the day.i already have a male cat and they both sit at the window playfully swatting at eachother.the problem is this cat won't let a human get close to it.when i come out to put food for it,it stays far away and waits till i go back in before comming on the porch.is there anyway this cat can be domesticated? i also have a dog and this cat doesn't seem to worried about the dog when it goes to the window to look at it.but i don't know how the cat would react if they were actually living together.my dog is fine with cats.is there anyway i can tame this kitty so it can live inside with a family?

One of my cat's eyes are puffy, the other is fine. It looks like the eye-lid is swollen all around, I can still see his eye though. Does this sound like an allergic reaction or could be that he hit his eye, anyone have an idea? I worried that it might be something urgent.
