My cat loves them. I think it's something about the smell or the juice. He'll rub himself in it.

They LOVE the juice and will lick the olives, but won't eat them.

My cat Linus is a green olive freak. When I open the jar he's right there meowing. I put a little bit of the juice down on the floor and he wallows in it and licks it up. Linus will even eat a whole olive if I crush it up for him.

I sort of thought that Linus was just a weirdo who liked olives, but I guess either many cats like olives or many cats are just weirdos. LOL

Um... I guess your cat just likes olives... But about the rubbing, he is just marking his territory. Cats do that to everything. Have you ever noticed that when you are gone for a long time, it will come up to you and start rubbing his head againgst your legs? Well, he is marking his territory on you. It is just instinct.

no... but I have one that is goofy for banannas and apples, and the other is a yogurt eater, one that just is goofy over speggetti sause but not the meat. They are all three Iams cat food cats only , no treats or other foods. Oh yes, all
three will eat wild or white cooked rice.

No, but to Greek olives (regular black ones don't work). It is so strange to see the reaction - the rubbing, the rolling, the eating, the playing - really, really strange - I wonder what specifically it is?
