Might be the food. Have you had the cat checked by a vet? maybe it needs a special diet.

A cat's size has nothing to do with the amount he or she vomits. if your cat is vomiting frequently, they may have a parasite or disease. It is most likely however that they have developed an allergy to something in their food. Cats are natural carnivores and frequently cannot digest grain which is present in most commercial cat foods. I like to feed my cat Innova Evo, which is only sold in specialty pet food stores. It contains no grain. My mother's cat had a vomiting problem and this food actually stayed down. It is very important to rule out more serious conditions as vomiting can be caused by several different things. I'd say send him to a vet first and see what the vet has to say.

Several years ago, when my cat kept tossing her tuna I took her to the vet. She explained that some cats have a rather small exit from the stomach, which can cause food to back up and make Kitty sick. Fortunately, this can be corrected with surgery. (Also fortunate, my cat didn't need this!)
Do have a vet look at your cat. Bring a sample of the vomit so the doctor can test it.

Yes, sometimes cats do have problems vomiting after gorging themselves with food just like other animals and people. You will probably need to feed a set amount of food at certain times in order to avoid this. If it continues you may want to get your cat to the vet.

Cats vomiting after eating is usually due to the cats eating too fast. You need to regulate his pace by either setting down smaller portions of food at a time, or switching to a kibble that is larger in size (which encourages chewing, instead of "inhaling"!) Royal Canin makes a few different types of cat food that are breed specific. The one they have for Siamese is made specially for them because Siamese tend to throw up after eating because they don't chew their food properly. So this brand (#38 it's called) has a specially shaped kibble that encourages chewing. You can experiment with different brands, but never switch your cat's food overnight. You have to do so gradually by mixing the old and new food little by little until you are feeding only the new food. Good luck.

We had a cat like that and it turned out that he just had a sensitive stomach, although we got that diagnosis from a vet, and he was fine throughout his life, you might want to take him to the vet just to be sure, if this problem came out of nowhere after he has been able to eat fine for a while, then you might want to get him checked out right away, my cat had this problem since he was born
