I was amazed when I saw my female cat which is in heat spray. She is an indoor cat only and not fixed. So If I get her fixed would she stop spraying?

reason now she is going potty all over the house. we have taken her to the vet and they said she checks out fine. what reasons do they do this if anyone has ideas please tell me, because my husbands says if she continues this she is going to the shelter. this saddens me as i dont want to give her up. she is even going number two on the rugs now. Also, we have tried everything in the world to rid her of her fleas and for some reason they wont go away, we tried all the remedies we vacuum with flea powder she wears a flea collar etc you name it, and she is an indoor only cat in case anyone asks. We live in florida and one of my friends said fleas are worse in warmer climates, is that true? i guess i have asked too many questions, sorry but i am really scratching my head over this cat. thank you very much and since i am writing this on christmas eve, merry christmas to you all and i hope you are blessed beyond measure this holiday season.

cause like everysingle night like around 2am to 5am this cat keeps on coming by for some food. it stares inside and gets my cats all excited yet nervous at the same time and i do admit somtimes i feed her (i think its a girl cause she has a gentle voice) and after she eats the food i give her she still lays by the door and/or stares inside my cats stare right back at her. my boy actually meows alot when he sees her as if hes saying someones there. why dose she stay by us. also i think she belongs to my next door neighbor cause i think ive seen this same cat in their window during the day but only during the day not at night. do some people let there cats out at night? also should i keep on feeding her? my cats are indoor cats 100% of the time. could they be jealous?

She is a 10 yr old cat who has never had a problems before. She knows exactly where her litter tray is and always uses it properly. I just can't understand why she would do this. I actually saw it happen and couldn't believe my eyes!!! Any ideas as to why she would do this as i am a bit concerned?

He's about 9 months old and is getting noticeable heavy when I pick him up and has a belly. He is eating a lot more than he used to (I give him Iams kitten hard food and also one or two of the soft food in the small cans a day). I was under the impression you should let a cat eat as much as he wants while he is still growing. I want him to get big, not fat. Not sure if I should restrict his intake or not because I know he is still growing and don't want him to come up short on nutrients... Wondering what others thought about this.

My cat has had a cut on her nose for like three months now and it doesn't seem to be getting better, in fact its getting darker. I don't know why it doesn't heal.

10 month old weighs 10 pounds..... 4 month old weighs 8 pounds.

They are domestic kittens. The 10 pound is a black tuxedo and when he walks, his gut looks like its dragging on the ground.

My friend left 3 kittens in a house alone without food for 2 days, She came back could only find 2 of them, and took them to a friend's house. So kitten number 3 was in that house alone for 6 days really no food minus garbage. Her friend ,Carl called me , he couldn't have the kittens there anymore, so i came and got them. On the way home i stop at her old house, and saw the screen open and last orange kitten there in the window, i prop open the window< wasn't locked> and took the kitten to my house. So now i have all 3 kittens and she called and ask for them back. She is done with her out of town work. But i don't want to give them back.Because she goes out of town all the time and leaves them barely any food, and most of the time i bring them food.Does that make me a bad person?Or should i give them back? Can she be trusted with these kittens ?

Okay, I adopted this beautiful cat from my friend. He has long, grayish-whitish hair, and he has really really big eyes. His nose is kind of flat, so I'm thinking he might be part Persian. The area in between his toes also have fur in them. I'll try to upload a picture, but based off this information, can anyone help me?

Do tortioshell cats make good pets? I have allergies and I found a torti cat that I absolutly love but i'm worried about whether or not her fur will be long. The vet says she is a mix. Also to Torties tend to be fat? I was wanting a sleek cat with short hair but I really do like this tortie. Suggestions?

I have a seven month old female cat and she's always been VERY good about going in her litter box, but sometimes she doesn't get far enough in and ends up going down the side of the box. I live in a small apartment and the only out of the way spot for her box is not quite tall enough for an enclosed box. Any ideas? I'm tired of picking up little poos off the floor!

I have 2 kittens -- Goodpoo (6 mos) and Badpoo (7.5 mos). They both eat the same amount of food every day. Their diet primarily consists of Wellness wet kitten food and perhaps 25% of their diet comes from a premium dry kitten food like Wellness or Chicken Soup. Neither kibble contains corn gluten.

As far as I can remember, both Goodpoo and Badpoo passed good sized stools every day when I first had them. They were about the diameter of my thumb and they would pass 2-3 good sized pieces that were probably 3-4 inches in length.

In the last couple months I've been noticing weird things about Badpoo. A few times I've noticed blood on her stool (the vet said not to worry and she does not have worms). I've seen her pass stool that starts out firm but then ends soft. But what worries me most is that her stool lately is consistently very thin and small -- pinky size. And I'm a small person.

I am worried because my kitties' output it SO different but they have the exact same diet.

I know this is disgusting but my female cat, Tilly, has peed on our stove. We turned it on and the smell was awful and probably very unhealthy for us. She has done this atleast 7 times and only when everyone is sleeping or out of the house. Tilly has never done this, she is 12 years old and healthy. She eats and uses her litter except for when she pees on the stove. We don't want to get rid of her (put her to sleep) but I can't have this. I have to clean all four burners almost everyday! I wonder if this could be stress because tilly lives with 4 other younger cats. But she has always been fine with them since we've had them for atleast 3 years. We also recently got a lovebird, but it doesn't annoy her. Does anyone have any idea why tilly would do this or how to stop her?

I have three adorable cats that are very friendly. They sleep together, lick each others faces, roam the woods together, they eat their catfood from the same bowl together every day.
On the ocassion I throw down a chicken bone, the system fails, the unity is gone, they are now mortal enimies to be vanquished! They Spit and hiss at each other, none deterred, They put claws to face, and until one of them ultimately runs off in the woods with it there is no peace.
10 minutes later they're cuddled up together.

I was playing around with my girlfriend's cat, making her run around the house and jump around chasing her toy. After about 15 minutes or so, she started panting like dog and then a minute later and then threw up a clump of dry food. This was the first time she did this when I was looking after her. Is she just out of shape or is there something wrong with her? My girlfriend says she never really plays with her so I'm just hoping she just threw up from all the play.
