my 4 year old house cat has had intermittant seizures, drooping on one side of his face and seems really spaced out. He hasn't done this in a year or so, but now his inner eyelid thingys are covering his eyes, he is sneezing, and sort of listless. He doesn't even have the energy to give attitude, and trust me he's usually full of cattitude... I'm too broke for the vet right now and wonder if anyone can give me some insight?????

When I first adopted my tabby, I've noticed that it have a sagging tummy just like any female cat after giving birth. At first I thought that it was a she until my vet confirmed it otherwise. i've forgotten to ask the vet of this issue. he is otherwise a tame health tabby cat.

What happened was that I came home and my house was on fire.
my three inside cats died in the fire and the three outside cats survived. One was pulled from the rubble...she is shell shocked
one disappeared for three weeks and the other went and jumped in a pond. Any suggestions?

and he howled. My mother made an app. for the cat, but i could not wait till the 9th to find out what was wrong with him. I found out that he has crystals in his blatter, I took him to the Animal Emerceny Hospital, they wanted to alot of stuff on him, but it would cost over $17,000, so my mother said to empty his bladder. We took him to another hospital to spend the night there. We picked him up today, his potassium level is high which can kill him.His kidney is having a hard time with the potassium. Right now they are putting insulin in his body. If that does not work, we may have to put him asleep. COCO is a 2 1/2 years old full bred Siamese male named Coco. How can I pay my mother for all of this? How can I deal with putting my 2 1/2 year old kitten to sleep? I do not think that I can deal with putting COCO to sleep.I do not know what to do.I have to find a way to pay my mother. But I do not have any money.I will not get my SSI for a while, so that means that I can't pay her. Help!!!!

Some gave me free cans of cat food so I could feed strays that wander into my yard. I've noticed that the can are never where I place them. Last week my daughter saw the cat pick up the can of food in its mouth and head for a cool spot beneath the deck. Then we saw where all the missing cans are?? What do you make of this?

I was curious as to whether any of ya'll have a cat that sees invisible things all of the time and completely freaks out! My cat, Mel, will be purrrfectly calm one second and then he'll zoom in on something I can't see and just fly to the other side of the house or dart from one place to another while meowing @ the top of his lungs. Its happened more often lately than before. Sometimes he'll even try to visciously attack ME and i'll have just been sitting here minding my own biz! A friend told me once that animals and even kids see spirits that adults don't see and it makes them spaz out! Does anyone agree? FYI, he just had his 1 yr bday. Is it just kittenhood perhaps? What else could be causing this erractic behavior and how can I calm Mel down?

I have had my cat Rascal (hes a boy) for about 9 years now.

He is always really nice but about every like 4 months he gets really mean and if you are teasing him he bites you as hard as he can. He just bit me Tuesday and i have a long deep cut in my arm.
Do you know any reason my cat does this?
It doesnt happen often as I said but when it does he is like a devil kitty.

My girl cat is 9 years old. She has been fixed, and she never goes out. A couple of days ago, she was making all kinds of weird noises until I saw her face to face with a boy cat outside in the backyard. The only thing separating them was the mosquito screen. She went CRAZY but then he left and she was a normal kitty again. Well, she just pooped on the coutch that is in my sunroom, and she peed on the loveseat in my sunroom, all today. She has never been bad, and she always uses her cat litter. Is this something that she is going to do again and again? Do I have to ban her from the sunroom? I need help. Thanks for your comments.

one cat is male, and is 6 mo. the other is female, and is about 3 mo. obviously the male needs to be neutered, but thats all me and my boyfriend can afford. we will do that soon. the male we got from a friend who got him from his litter. the female we found wandering around outside, with her ribs showing, meowing at us so we gave her food. then she hung out arund the house, and we would pet her. we finally agred to make her a part of our family, and she and the male cat get along great, they sleep together and play and clean each other. but, since she is a stray, is there a high possiblity she could have something? or that if she does, she could give it to him? does she/they really need thier shots if they are both now indoor cats? (they never go outside - its not a safe neighborhood, someone may kill/hurt them for fun). I need a VETS opinion, and maybe some statistics, too. i want to know what the possibility is of my new friends actually needing veterinarian care.

thanks so much!!
