My girl cat is 9 years old. She has been fixed, and she never goes out. A couple of days ago, she was making all kinds of weird noises until I saw her face to face with a boy cat outside in the backyard. The only thing separating them was the mosquito screen. She went CRAZY but then he left and she was a normal kitty again. Well, she just pooped on the coutch that is in my sunroom, and she peed on the loveseat in my sunroom, all today. She has never been bad, and she always uses her cat litter. Is this something that she is going to do again and again? Do I have to ban her from the sunroom? I need help. Thanks for your comments.

An uninvited visit from another feline is very stressful to a resident cat. To your cat, her territory has been invaded and she must rigorously defend it. The fact that she pooped is most likely nerves, but the peeing is very likely her way of marking her territory. This behavior is certainly not ideal but it is not uncommon. She feels threatened and you need to do everything you can to comfort her. Chase away the visitor or close your blinds so she can't see him. It may or may not happen again depending on whether this strange cat returns. If he keeps returning and you keep reassuring your cat, she may just learn to tolerate and eventually ignore him. Don't punish her, but if you catch her in the act, you can certainly scold her harshly. But don't punish her or it could just stress her out more. Good luck.

The male probably wasn't fixed and she could smell that. So she reacted.
Clean the spots and get a good spray to eliminate the smell so she doesn't think it's a bathroom. I recommend an enzyme oder remover, not just a cover up like Febreze. A pet store will have them if the regular store you shop at doesn't. You have many to choose from, Urine B Gone, Nature's Miracle, Pet Mess, etc... Just don't use anything with ammonia, the smell is too close to urine so they will go there again. If you already have a mini steam cleaner, then mix vinegar into water, cleans the smell right out and it's easy on the budget.
Once cleaned and the smell is gone, she won't go there again on her own. She might if another tom is outside again. Keep a close eye on her and your property for a week or so to make sure he doesn't come back and rile your female again.

Unfortunately that is highly likely. It is a territorial thing with her, not because the other cat is male.
Most outside cats hate water and the hose is the most effective way to deter them from around your home. They get the message really fast.
My cats are confined to my property with cat fence in. The neighbors got a darling boy named Tommy two years ago. He would come and sit on the fence to watch my six kitties. My Sylvie got out one day and she chased Tommy for eight solid hours. She came home that night, disappeared under the bed and didn't appear for ten hours. She was absolutely swacked! That's a ten year old cat chasing a 10 MONTH old cat all day long. I sprayed Tommy with the hose several times and he found another place to play!

The main thing is to get the area clean so that the cat can't still smell it. Cats can smell things we can't. Simple Solution, at Petsmart and other pet stores is the very best for cleaning pet mishaps. Just follow the direstions. For more on this subject see the link below

She is marking her territory to keep other cats out. She felt threatened by the other cat. She is simply "protecting" herself.

She's doing this to mark her territory or to attract the boy cat. She'll do it every time she see another cat because that house is her house. ;)
