My partner, of late, decided it would be a good idea to take Wolfgang to the Gulf of Mexico. He said, "there's a lot of sand there, and waves, and, like, he can chase the waves and it'll be fun..." I thought, "your momma dropped you on the head once too often," but went along with it, as usual, when he gets these goofy ideas. Wolfgang did not have a good time. Your experience?

my girl cat had her first litter of kittens. and she had six kittens. and some of them were born over 5 1/2 inches long, and the smallest was 4 in long. is this normal? she and the father is pixie-bob/manx. is it also normal that only 1 of the kittens has no tail, all the others have tails. but they are half pixie bob, and half manx. so they should have shortails right.

I have had my kitten for 6 months now and I have not once seen him cough up a hairball even though he licks himself a lot and is always malting. Have you got any ideas how to bring them up? One suggestion I got was giving the kitten cooking oil, is this a good idea?

Have an adult male cat (maybe 10 yrs) who is now vomiting up cat food all time, crapping outside the littler box and in other places around the house. The cat has been in family for a long time, and I hate even asking, but do you all think it may be time to put him down? We have a 8 month old baby and no time or patience to clean up after this cat. The vet says nothing is wrong. So I doubt they would put him to sleep. Damn I hate thinking of that option.

I think my cat is in love with the guy I am seeing.. she is all about him all the time!
He doesn't have any animals, so its not like he smells like anything.

is there a reason she is so crazy about him?

Dog's turn on their owners all the time and attack them. I'm wondering if a house cat has ever inflicted fatal damage on its owner.

Its on his back right paw beteen his paw pad and toes. It's kinda raw and smells bad. I assume thats an infection but Im curious if anyone is familiar with this. I will be taking him to the vet if it doesnt clear up or gets worse. So far I wash it, dab a little peroxide and neosprion on it. Anyone have experience with this sorta thing? Just curious what it is or caused it. Its gross but Im thinking maybe feces.

I have two parakeets that are less than two years old. I'm thinking about getting a kitten. If I introduce the kitten to the birds carefully, do you think the kitten will grow accustomed to having birds in the house and won't try to attack them? I live in an apartment and don't have enough room to keep the birds and kitten in separate rooms. Has anyone had luck raising a gentle kitten with birds in the house?

Ok so ''my cat'' gave birth to 6 kittens, and they have been here for about 2 maybe 3 weeks. The mother cat has just gone missing for about maybe 45 minutes I`ve tried everyhing and it seems that she isnt anywhere in our yard. (Note: she and the kittens live outside) So should i go and pick up some kitten formula at a pet store?? Or what should i do?? The kittens are crying it seems they are really hungry.

Thank You
