OK I do not abuse my cat or would I ever hurt my cat. shes' 7 years old and shes very vocal and every since she was little I used to hold her on my shoulder like a baby and pretend to burp her and she would inch up so I could spank her butt. But NOT HARD!!

Yeah, both my cats love to be spanked. I dont know if it's normal or not but I know a lot of cats that love it. One of my cats loves to be thrown by the base of her tail too. Not high, far, or abusive but just a lil toss from like 6-8 inches above the ground. Pretty funny.

I have 3 cats and out of the 3 - 1 likes to be spanked - she's a wacko though. The other 2 don't like it, but one loves to have his neck scratched and other his belly rubbed. . .all unique little individuals

When they are in heat. I'm not gross or anything but I caught my younger brother spanking the cat. I told him I was going to tell our mom, but he said "Look, she likes it!!" and sure enough, the cat did appear to love it, but only when she was in heat.
