My cat's having a difficult time with the shots-growling & hissing when he sees me. Something oral would be better. I'm a little leary of herbal remedies unless someone has first hand success with it.

I have a 2 year old little girl cat and she gets the WORST matted fur all over her chest, tummy, and back. She baths often and I even try and wash her often so she doesn't get too clumpy. I would brush her but I think it hurts her. She gets really pissy when I try. Should I just go get her shaved for the summer? Any ideas would be great!

I can not sit on my porch because the cat urine odor is unbearable. Isn't there a law against roaming cats? I have had cats and I never allowed them out. I have two dogs who do not "wander". This is a real problem. My one neighbor told me her cat is an "outside cat"! Help!

Once there was a building site next door and freaked her out and the vet said she was probably stressed and kept washing because she felt disturbed. Now all gone and she has a habit of non-stop grooming to the point of losing fur on her inside legs and arms. The vets say she is perfectly healthy and nothing can be done. Any ideas?

I forgot to mention that we have a really old AC unit in our apartment...Its built into the wall so its not up to us to have it replaced. I have a very mold allergy and when the AC is on it gets worse, same with the kitten, anytime i mop the floor, dust or use some type of cleaning aid, his sneezing gets a little worse, i mean im going to bring it up again to the vet but is it something that can wait until thursday or should i do it now??

My cat only likes dry food - ever since I adopted him at 4mths old , he has been eating only top quality food ( my friend owns a pet store) and does not like wet food . He just licks the gravy . Is this ok / My vet said its fine, but is only dry food ? He drinks only pure bottled spring water too.

We adopted a kitten last weekend from our local humane society. She's healthy, very affectionate, and active. However, she doesn't bathe herself. Shouldn't she be doing this by now? Is there anyway to teach her to do this at this stage or will she eventually figure it out herself?
