Why stop her? Cats have energy to burn just like humans do. I'm sure she's doing it at the same times throughout the day, right? My 9-month old cat has his "psycho" moments from 7:00AM until 9:00AM then sleeps all day. Around 9:00PM until 11:00PM he again has to expell all that energy he gained from sleeping 12 hours straight! He's hilarious to watch - running from room to room, playing with random objects, up and over couches, under tables. Think of it as self-entertainment!
Now, if she's doing it at unconventional times, then maybe you need to set aside a couple times during the day to play with her that are more convenient for you. Kittens and cats need human interaction and need to exert all that pent up energy.
Good luck!

I have a blind cat that chases her tail... For your kitty, try to engage her in some active play that involves her chasing something that you move. Lots of cats love to chase a flashlight beam or feathers on a string. If you actively play with her two or three times an evening, it will release some of her pent up energy and it will cut down on her wild tears through your dining room.

cats are crazy especially indoor cats. They need to get their energy out. My suggestion would be another cat so they can play with each other. But otherwise I would have to say you really aren't a cat person. Most cats run around like that when they get spurts of energy

Let the cat run all day long, if it wants to. It'll burn the energy out and it won't want to play during the night. If it continues for much longer take the cat to the vet!

Why are you concerned? This is way at the bottom of disturbing cat behaviors.

She is not in any way "crazy".
She needs an outlet for her energies. Just respect her need and be grateful that she is not into some other disturbing behavior.

I dont know how but my cat is the same way. She will play Hide and go seek. SHES SO FUNNY. And last night she was so hyper that she was eatting my flip-flop. Cats can be really funny. If i were you i would just play with her/him and let it be its self. Have fun with you cat.
HAVE A GREAT DAY TOO!!!!!!!!!!

Let a cat be a cat and let her play if you don't she will only bother you in the middle of the night cause she wants to play since you dodn't allow her to do it all day.

Ahahaha my cat does that all the time! He bounces from one wall to the other! The vet said he is just playing and gets carried away. Warning....don't keep breakables out. Mine broke a glass lamp we had and he banged into it and it went to pieces. Ever since them I think he was tramatized because he will not go onto our bed anymore. (it was a bedroom lamp)
