Cats can be strange creatures. My cat Khattman is very disapproving of smoking and will sit glaring at me from the floor until I a) hide the cig behind my back so he thinks it's gone, or b) put it out cos I know he's waiting to come on my knee for a cuddle. BUT!! If I'm rolling a joint he knows the difference and will jump up anyway, sits on my knee while I blow a little his way, purrs like a runaway engine and goes to sleep with happy dreams. Bloody hypocrite! But I love him to bits.

seriously, tho its funny. it is bad for him. In nature animals arent around smoke, in fact IF they smell it they run like hell because it means a fire is CLOSE.
Your cat probably is taking in a lot of second hand smoke, and cat's sense of smell is WAY more perceptive than yours, so what you smell, he smelled 5 minutes ago and it was twice as strong. lol.
Tell uncle to smoke on the porch outside... it makes your house smell too and guests wont want to come over and sit on a couch that smells like stale butts!

Bad for people, bad for cats. Try to keep him away from the smoke. It does the same thing to them as it does us.

Umm.... smoking is bad for humans, so obviously its bad for cats. Keep him away before he gets smokers meow. That wont be cool. Be stern with him and let him know that area is bad and he needs to stay away. Good luck and keep your kitty healthy.

I don't think you have to worry TOO much, but WHAT on EARTH is your UNCLE SMOKING? lol! It looks like you might have gotten a little of that "second hand smoke" there. hehe
Roll another one... Just like the other one. :D
