i have a few cats 1 is just a kitten about 8 weeks of age i call her hissy cause she hissies at the big black lab of mine when he goes in my room now kitten dont mind dog any were else but in my room she throws a hissy fitt jumping and scratchin at him hissin like a cobra poor dog just looks at her like she lost her marbles why dose she do this in just my room

Just some background--my cat is extremely social when it comes to humans. He hates being alone and always wants to be where the people are. So, it's just bizarre he's completely scared of my friend's BF. (Any time the BF comes over, the cat runs like a bat out of hell to hide under the bed. I've never seen him react this way with anyone.)

i got 2 cats thinking they are clean and independant?
i did research and almost everyone said cats are great etc etc,
they poo where ever they happen to be ( yes they use the litter tray) but they also if upstairs do 1s and 2s wherever. iam physically wretching when i clean litter tray, they are so sneaky too iam a person of responsibility and would never cause them harm( it goes without saying) but this for the next 15-20yrs?

I am interested in getting a cat. I had a wonderful little mixed dog, but she passed away, and I want another pet. I live very far out in the country, and I have discovered that I have field mice again. I was just wondering if it is hard to litter box train a cat? Also, is it a good idea to declaw the front claws? Thanks

Hey Folks, My little cats (6months old) was stung today by a wasp. This was a few hours ago now. Her little leg has swollen up but she is still plodding about... i put a little warm water and vinegar in a bowl and bathed her little paw. Does anyone have any advice? Is there anything else i should do?? Your help will be much appreciated :o)

i recently jus came back from italy after i left my cat w/my mom 4 a month and a half and when i came back my cat started growling, hissing, biting and scratching me im scared she might have rabies! how do i know if she does? i heard that they either put the animal down or quarantine them ?

well after many times of trying to catch the stray cat that i wrote about that had her face swollen, whom i've finally named paris, the vet said she had just gotten into a fight with other cats cause she also had other bite marks on her that were not visible to me, im glad it was nothing more than that cause i was so scared that it was something more serious, i got her vaccinated, and took care of everything for her, the vet even told me that she would be having 4 kittens and that they were fine, i tought my other cats would have a problem with her, but they seem to b getting along just fine,and she really likes to be in the house with the ac, cause its so hot outside, she loves having her own little cat bed, and i cant wait for her to have her little kitties i want to keep one and i already found homes for the other 3 with my good friends...thank u all that wrote in to try to figure out what was wrong with her... :o)

I think it is so funny that someone could be so obsessed about an issue. That sadistic cat killer lady just couldn't stop herself from posting a comment about my answer. It's not true that cats land on their feet. I threw my neighbors off my roof and it did not land on its feet. It didn't even move after it hit the ground. Who came up with that saying?
