$50 to $60 roughly
(If you devide the vet bills into each month)
I only take her to the vet once or maybe twice a year if something is wrong. As long as you keep them healthy, you shouldn't need to go to the vet but once a year unless they get an infection or something but they're usually pretty careful.
I buy catnip, scratching pods, toys & treats but those are all very inexpencive & don't need to be bought but once every four or five months.

$15-20 on food, Natural choice comeplete care indoor formula.
$10-$15 on litter Arm and hammer super scoop
$5 on treats (mostly less, they have a lot right now so don't need to buy any for a while)
$20 on Medicine (I have 2 cats with feline herpes and one also has feline asthma)
$40 on vet bills (some months more some less, some none at all)
$30 on toys (some months more some less, right now we have slowed down on getting toys for them since they have a lot right now.
and I would say $30 on miscelaneous. I might be missing something I can't think, it's been a long day.

Food - $15
Revolution - $15
Cat litter $5
Then if you break down the cost of the yearly shots and such into a month you are looking at roughly $10 a month. Do you want to know the breakdown of spaying or neutering? It can run from $50 for a neuter to $85 for a spay. And that doesn't include pain medicine or bloodwork. Some vets require the bloodwork.

Lets see...
$10 on food
$10-$20 on litter (it lasts longer when you clean it regularly)
$5 on treats and toys (they like free toys the best)
$100-$150/yr on vet bills (around $10/month)
For longhaired cats, $40 every 4 months for professional grooming ($10 a month)
So all in all, around $50/month
Also, for every cat I've had, about $500-$1000 in emergency vet bills over their lifetime (less than $100/yr)

A month??? I guess the only consecutive cost is food and litter...which is about 30 bucks. Toys can be made out of just about anything to keep a cat occupied...Yearly vet visits could be about 150 in NY, but put away for emergencies too.

I have three cat's and I spend about $40 a month. It may change for some people because of the kind of cat food and litter they may use.

Well I just adopted a cat about a year ago and I've spent about $1200 on her (vet, food, litter, toy, other accessories) for the year....so I guess that makes it out to be aroud $100....of course you could probably spend less than that--my fiance and I really pamper this cat. Her name is Princess.

I typically spend about $100 a month on my kitties (I have 7).
This includes wet food, dry food, and litter
If it's flea season add another $40 to my total.
This includes a package of advantage, flea bombs for every room and a brand new flea collar for everyone (kitties)
