I dont actually know any but kittens are easy to look after you can ask your vet any advice if you are the one who was worried about the kitten not eating ive got a few tips. the first thing would be that it could have worms if the mum had them when she birthed. this is not a scary thing in fact very common and easily treated with a couple of tablets from the vet .
If not try a kitten food as they have smaller chunks of meat, my cat prefers biscuits .
it may also be pining for its mum in which case it should start eating better once its settled.
my cat is really fussy with her meat and will only eat one particular one so it may be that it doesnt like that particular food.
i hope this helps and you are not annoying me lol

Don't be ashamed at asking for help! There are more than 139,000 cat websites out there to help. If that number sounds suspicious, it's because I had to find some catly answers myself, not long ago. Start out by searching for cathelp.org with you city or county name preceding. Also try aspca.org and catrescue.org . As I said, I've had to look them up myself recently, and if you list your city or zip code, you will usually be directed to help in your area. Oh, I almost forgot; IAMS and PURINA advertise websites for your pet questions. Good luck! You have joined an elite organization: people owned by cats!

treat your kitten like the baby it is. It needs attention, frequent feeding, love and affection, training to use the litter box. Clear your floor of hazards, electrical wires, small items that look edible. If youre able to keep your kitten confined to one particular area, then do so. Use a cat carrier often, let your kitten sleep in the carrier, so it gets used to it. Let your kitten out of its confined area, with you watching it, playing with it, not leaving it alone to get into mischief, just like you would a new baby. Most brands of name brand and store brand kitten food offer a web site. All of these are informative and will give you a lot more information on kitten care. Good luck and enjoy your kitty!

It's great to check out different sites and get information, but once you know all the basics of feeding, comfort, getting those vaccination shots (check the vet), what you learnt with your son should be very useful! Feed it and give it lots of love, protect it, cuddle it and play with it.

It's great you're open to learning! I would love to jump in and "educate" you and that's because I am just one of those old schoolteachers who LOVE an eager student.
You can go to: www.littlebigcat. com. Dr Jean Hovfe has thirty articles there you can read regarding how to make kitty feel at home, what vaccinations to give her, what to feed her, all about litterboxes etc.
