My dad took her to the vet, and they gave Marmalade an antibiotics shot, should this be enough, or should I take her back in another week? I'm like an over protective mother with my cats, especially now that they are all getting on in years, but my cats never "show" when they don't feel well.

I clean the "boogers" off but they just reappear a few days later. if I wait a while before I clean his nose, his skin will appear raw after I clean the boogers off. it almost looks like it forms a scab on top of his nose. I can't seem to get it to go away. is there anything I can do? should I be worried?

I live in a town-house complex and I have a female de-sexed cat. My neighbours have a male - don't know if he's de-sexed or not. Lately he's been coming into my yard at night and 'spraying' all over my front door. It STINKS and I have no idea what to do. The neighbour's cat is an outdoor cat - day and night. Mine is out during the day and in at night. I don't leave her biscuits out at night. I'd rather try and deal with it on my own before going and seeing the neighbours because I don't want to start any animosity. PLEASE help!!!It's driving me mad and its not fair on my cat - its HER garden not his!!

We just adopted a kitten, about 6 months old from a local shelter. We were told that the cat came in as a stray. He has been here almost a week and been fine, other that the annoying begging for human food.

As I was cleaning the house tonight, I couldn't figure out what the nasty odor was, until I opened the shower curtain to discover diarrhea from the cat. Since then, it's like he is "leaking" urine. He has been to his litter box but he is peeing everywhere. On our laps, carpet, chair..not like he is squatting to go, it just happens?? What the heck is going on?

Calling the vet first thing in the morning, just curious tonight. He couldn't have gotten into anything bad today, as all our rooms are being shut u during the day.

I need to train an indoor cat to walk through a clear plastic flap like cat door. The door goes from one room into another. The cat will play and stick her paws through the door, she'll even go through it if I hold it open-- but she won't walk through it on her own... Help!!

My male cat's right back inside claw keeps detaching from the bed. It first happened about 2 months ago and it came completely off. The only way I found out about it is because I found a trail of bloody paw prints. It's now grown back and has detached from the bed again, BUT is still attached at the top and is no longer positioned over the bed( I'm only calling it the bed cause I know no other term, but its the part that where the blood flows). It bled a little bit, but now I don't know what to do? I can touch it with out him crying and sometimes hissing in pain. The nail is clearly and strongy attached at the top to where you just can't pull it off. Its also starting to scab over and imbed into the skin near it. I don't know what to do please help!

So my dads friend that is poor wants to keep one of my 6 kittens. They are good people.....but they are poor......which means they wont have hardly any money if they even have any! Im not trying to be rude. I just want these kittens to be able to eat and drink and have some toys and a nice place to sleep. My dad is leaning toward giving them one, But he knows that i am the one that decides. I made that very clear to him today.
So what do you think? Should i give them one or not?

I have a cat that weighs 20 lbs (goes to the vet regularly and has no health problems), and I have heard that a cat that big is unhealthy, but I also heard that its ok if a cat is that big as long as he gets exercise and regular vet check ups he will be fine. So is a cat that weighs 20 lbs healthy or not healthy?

Okay whenever my cat gets scared she ..uh...let's loose and I'm stuck cleaning up runny cat poop. Should it be that easy for her to just poop when she gets scared? It's not like she trys to make it to the litter box, she just poops right then. Last night, for example, a car backfired...she hissed and pooped as she was running away. None of my other cats are like this, I mean they get scared but the explosive stuff..nope they just hiss and run away.
I'm wondering if there is maybe a health reason that she goes squirting so easily? Any help could be greatly appreciated
