Check with the vet. Some other health related problems could be going on.

I thought my cat had a problem because she snores a lot!! I mean we can hear her at night, and the vet said "She is just overweight" put her on a diet and she will stop doing that. I tought about it but if i did put her on a diet then she wouldn't be the same, so now we just love to hear her snore!

my 5 month old male kitten snores every time he sleeps. in your mind, I guess my cat would be classified "weird" too. FYI: most cats (like humans) snore!!! they're totally normal!!! so get used to the fact!!

She's not weird/ My cat snores also. I thought it was because he is a little"large". After all, my husband is fat and he snores too. You ought to be here when they are both snoring!!

It depends what breed of cat it is? Cats can snore. Especially Persian cats who have a short airway. We have one cat, a persian, who you can always tell where he is sleeping because you can hear him snoring.

Two of my three cats snore. You might just want to have your vet check him/her out.

Its normal for animals to snore but to be honost most times it means that your cat is overweight. I would check with your vet

Actually she isn't that weird. Two of mine snore, one most of the time, the other just every once and a while.
Why they do, I don't know.
