My girlfriend has a bird and it is really hard to remove the crap from the wire cage and anywhere it gets even after just a few days. She uses tray liners but i was wondering if there is a trick like spraying the cage with something that would keep it from sticking or a product that would make clean-up easier, but be safe for the bird

I'm pretty sure she's mated and will have a baby but recently I found these changes:

Her poop has turned into pee? (liquid)
She closes her eyes often like she's tired.
She fluffes up more often.
1 of my 4 males often stays by her and feeds her seeds and guards her.
He put his foot on her back but she moved away.
Her chrip is a high-pitched noise still much like common sparrows.

Is she pregant or sick? We just bought them a nesting home for $18.00...

I am fascinated by domesticated birds. I have thought about getting a bird for my office (I own my own office and it is more like a home environment). I am not super knowledgable about birds and maybe I don't need to get one...but I have thought about it and am very curious. What do you think would be the best type of bird for the environment that I am talking about? I am at the office 7 days a week and can bring the bird home with me at night. Is this crazy? Be honest...I can be talked out of this if it is not the right thing to do but I know people with different types of birds and I envy them. I would love to have one in my family.

My Quaker parrot is 6 months old and says "Chow-chow" for a treat. Besides associating words with actions, do I need to work with one word or phrase at a time or just say various phrases frequently? Thank you for your time.

I got a lovebird parrot. He keeps flying over to my christmas tree and sitting on the branches. It looks like he's snacking on it as I run at him screaming to get out of the tree. Is this ok, or should I keep him on lock down untill after christmas???

I have 3 green parakeets, 1 blue, 1 yellow (rare) && 1 white.

The green and blue parakeets are male while the yellow and white are female.

Anyway, one of my bird's I think my white one is making a high-pitched noise much like a common sparrow or some sort of bird like that.

She has been eating alot more and is tired more. I think she's mated I'm not sure.

1 of my green male's has been er...'feeding' her alot with his own beak.

Is she pregant, or sick?
