I just gave my cat a flea bath with cat flea shampoo. He is salivating. Is this normal? Do I need to take him to the emergency vet??

It's been a few months now. She was an outside stray, so i took her and got her fixed and found out she has Feline AIDS. I can't take her to any shelters because they euthanize them there. She's a very sweet cat and i read online that they can live just as long as other cats. There IS a sanctuary in Boca Raton that told me they could take her but, Does anyone know of a website that will help me find another FIV positive cat owner that may want another cat, or a rescue that is willing to try and find a home for positive cats? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

He is throwing up clear liquid and wont eat or drink. I saw a long spagetti like worm in his stool today and called the vet. He cant see him until Monday. Are these symptoms normal for worms>Or could this be something else too?? I bought store quality wormer to try to get him through the weekend but he threw it up. Any advice will be appreciated. he is a 5 month old rottie by the way.

i have been feeding 2 stray cats out my back and discoverd 2 lovely baby kittens...i continued to fed the mother by bringing the bowl over to the nest...or what ever. but when i went to see thm the other day both of them where dead and the mother has not been seen since???did she sence human off the bowl and regect them :( im really sad over it and hope i didnt cose their death... am i to blaim

my 11 month old male parrotlet has lost his vibrant color of the last couple weeks. I understand he is stsarting to molt, he has a BUNCH of pin feathers sticking out of his head and neck, and there are grey with a little tad of green feathers on his pull out tray. Is there is anything else i could do for him, and should do anything about his pinfeathers on his head? Also the breeder i got him at said not to add anything else to his diet unless i wanna give him a apple slice, and to remove it after 15 mins. He also said he didn't need a cuttlebone..... is this true.....

Hey everyone! Ok so here's the thing, my grandma has wanted a miniature or t-cup yorkshire terrier for a long long time now. But she is on social security and she doesn't have a lot of money and that breed of puppies is expensive. So does any one know where I can get her a mini or t-cup yorkie PUPPY for under $300?! And in the wausau area or surrounding areas in wisconsin? If any one can help I would reall really appreciate it, I want to buy it for her b-day and that's in two months! Ok, well as you can tell it's about my kitty. It was just born a few hours and it's an outside kitty. The mom won't touch. She sniffed it a few times but just left it in the middle of the ground. Is there a way I can get it to go get the kitten? It makes me cry when I see it because I love animals to death. The flys are all over it and the mom is just sitting there like 2 feet away starring at it. Is there a reason she isn't taking care of it? Is there a way I can get her to go take care of it? She had 4 altogether and takes care of 3 of them but not that one I told you about.

of everything. I can't even laugh or speak loudly over the tv because he flinches.......i feel so bad, how can i comfort him?

i do the best i can, i've learn to speak lower, and be more accomodating to him...... will he ever be not afraid?

he even gets scared when my boxer or bullmastiff bark!

He is running nonstop. He just ran around the block like he is in a panic. He came home and is running in the house like he's freaked out. He's about 15. He's a cocker and is fairly deaf. He's barking like ahound dog kind of. I just locked him in the bathroom, and he's quiet now. He crapped in the kitchen while he was running around.

I've seen him around dogs in heat and its not that. I dont want to take him to a vet and be charged 200 bucks for them to kill him.

I have a 4 month old kitten that never leaves my side when I am home. She is a very affectionate cat and very good around groups of people. I live in an apartment where I don't want to leave the litter or food outside of my bedroom as I have a roomate and it's not his responsibilty to have to deal with those things. I want them out of the way for everyone and my room is the best solution...

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me to keep my cat from going onto my bed, when I am sleeping or otherwise. One reason is that I am losing sleep as she wakes me up almost every night. But the main reason is that she has flared up a breathing problem for me as her dander gets on my bed. Any advise would help...
