I just gave my cat a flea bath with cat flea shampoo. He is salivating. Is this normal? Do I need to take him to the emergency vet??
hurry!!

I rinsed him with water for several minutes and it has stopped.
I called the vet and they said he probably had some of the soap in his mouth and just to be sure I rinsed it well.
Hopefully all is fine.
Thank you!♥

GET IT OFF. RINSE CAT FOR A LONG TIME.
Wash the cat again and get the flea stuff off.
Cats absorb stuff through their pores, and he is reacting to the toxins.
I don't think you'll need a vet, unless the flea stuff was not intended for use on cats, or if the flea stuff was made by Hartz.
Hartz products have made cats deathly ill.
Rinse, rinse, rinse, til it's as gone as you can get it.

Is there a chum who can come via for some days and then take her the kennel whilst they have an beginning? Cats are particularly self-reliant and if somebody could purely drop via and fill her water dish, feed her, and scoop her muddle field, it fairly is fairly all she desires. call some vets. each so often the vet techs do puppy sitting on the side. If the vets are closed, see if man or woman who boards has an emergency after hours extensive type to call. it fairly is an emergency in spite of everything.

Call the emergency vet and have the shampoo bottle next to you so they can hear the ingredients.
