As far as I know, pet shops in NSW aren't allowed to sell reptiles. My question is based on the assumption that this is true. If you know of any pet stores that sell gecko's, that would work too.

When i play fetch with my dog, after she has brought the ball back she drops it out of her mouth, lays down and has her two front paws around the ball. Every time I go to get the ball she burries her head into her paws, so the ball is between her paws and under her head, and growls at me. I have tried to get her to give it to me by giving her treats, but she doesn't seem to associate getting treats with giving me the ball, and I dont really want to spend too much money on dog treats. I've tried using two balls and throwing one when she brings back the other, but that's not stopping her from being overly protective of her ball.We have little children around her most of the time, and Im worried that she might snap at one of them if they attempt to get her ball. Why is she so protective of her ball, and how can i stop it?

We have had her over a week and tried leaving the radio on, but as soon as we leave her she starts.When I get up and let her out of the crate she settles down and goes back to sleep. After a week of sleepless nights and worrying about the neighbours, does anyone think if I give her the run of downstairs, it might solve the problem? She goes in and out of the crate during the day, but as soon as we shut the door she starts howling. We let her out and she settles down under the table. I really am at my wits end and although I love her dearly am seriously thinking of giving up and re homing her. HELP?

A recent question asked what you would sacrifice for your dog, life savings, house, relationship. Alot of the answer say that their dog comes first no matter what. Does that mean it comes before your kids too? As in would you let your child suffer from, allergies or being bitten or something, so you could keep your dog?

okay i have 8 cats all have fleas right now one in particular older male tabby cat behing right ear he has managed to itch a gash behind his ear looks horrible i got seargents flea spray suppose to last 18 days but 2 days later he scratched it open again anybody know any affordable yet good flea medication i can get for my cats? i am on budget so plz under 10 dollars maybe from wal-mart or something?"

I THINK he ate this, he may not of.. But what would happen if he did?

Its part of a necklace.
Its a chain about 2 and a half inches long, but its really thin.

The chain links are about 1mm thick.
Basically a very small thin piece of jewellary.

If he has eaten it, will he be ok?
Hes 3 months old.

My cat likes to lick the chocolate from digestive biscuits,maltesers etc and I wondered if this was ok for him.He doesn't ever suffer from diahorrea unless I change his cat food so I don't know if it's a problem.

i love my cat, he's all adorable..lol sometimes im not that responsible to him like cleaning his poo, etc.. but yesterday, i was like..pouring his catsand too little in his potty. lol, when hes about to go to his "toilet" its seems like when he's done potty, he just like angry with me and almost bring out all the catsand out from the box. and i was soooooo mad when he does that. ut is still the same when i put a lot of catsand. any suggestion to stop this madness???

I have a dog that is a VERY picky eater about her dog food (she only likes wet and certain brands) Anyway she keeps getting into my flemish giants food (rabbit food of course lol) and she also keeps stealing my rabbits carrots and eats them. Hello everyone. My family and I currently own 6 cats that found our house in one way or another and we are blessed to have them in our family. Recently, actually yesterday, I was out in the backyard and found a mother cat with her two baby kittens. Two of our cats that are living in our house were left in our backyard previously by this same mother. Now, I was just wondering what advice you guys had. I feel really bad leaving them out there but I know that the mother is more than capable of raising her kittens. We left some food out for them and leave wet food for the kittens. I was just wondering if you guys know whether or not our touching the kittens will cause the mother cat to abandon her young? I really wouldn't want this to happen due to my impatient nature. 6 weeks from now we are going to see if the mother will let us take her in and have her spayed since she is feral and I don't want her to constantly give birth to more kittens each mating season. Let me know about any advice

i have a 4 month old pitbull mix puppy....his mother was on site when we got him so we know he is half pit but the father was not....he looks like he could be lab but his legs are so long in the pic of him and my other puppy that we think he could be part great dane.....any help is appreciated

I recently set up an aquarium, but I wanted fish so I know my tank is still cycling so still wanted to try Guppies. I had gotten 4 males then I ask the lady for the females which had 2! I had read something about if the males don't have another male the same color they'll attack eachother but I had bought them anyway. One of my females went belly up the second day I had them. I know it wasn't shock because she lasted atleast a day and she wasn't picked on at all. Then one of my males started getting nipped at and eventually died this afternoon. The second blue male I started to worry about because the other two males were nipping at him so I put him in a bucket until this weekend when I'll be able to get more female guppies. However he is not moving very much in the bucket and my dad warned me that the water temperature might be different, however they feel almost the same so is it shock or is he depressed?

This is the first time i have seen this and don't know what to do...

Our tarantula flipped onto her back twice today we flipped her over thinking she had hurt herself or was too hungry and was dying. so we got her food, only to find out from a friend that said she is probably molting we researched it and found out that we had done two things wrong by putting food in there and flipping her right side up. We want to put her in a new tank to get her away from the crickets and put her on her back but I don't want to hurt her any more than we have already. Is this a good idea? Also she hasn't created a web for herself to lie in. So is she even molting please help soon?

Before anyone goes off on me, I know it's my fault for not socializing her well enough when she was a puppy BUT I have a 2.5 year old female chihuahua who hates EVERYONE except me, my parents, my boyfriend and occasionally she'll be okay with my boyfriend and I's roommate (he lives here off and on as he is a Marine). She loves to go to the lake and car rides but I can't take her to the dog park or Petsmart/Petco because she HATES people, I'm not even sure how she'd react with other dogs because she is so concentrated on the people. If someone gets within one foot of her she will growl and she WILL try to bite them. I don't know what to do. Is this behavior correctable?
