Dogs are only picky eaters because people allow or encourage that behaviour.. Catering to them when they seem to not want their kibble.. Rather than feeding a good quality kibble, they will add stuff to the food to try to get their dog to eat.. The dog then expects the additives and wants them all the time...

Of course she wants carrots and stuff, dogs love fruit and vegetables.. I don't know the effect that rabbit food might have on a dog, but I would read the ingredients to make sure that they wouldn't hurt her.
Don't know what effect if any, rabbit food might have on a pregnant dog.. I don't know what's in rabbit food.. If she is suck a suck, good luck when the pups are born.. She'll likely prefer to be a sucky and go to bed with you, rather than take care of her puppies.

Carrots are good for a dog. Lots of dogs like them. Also dogs similar to kids always think what someone else has is better. If you tried to feed her the rabbits food all the time it would probably lose its appeal.

Carrots as dog treats are fine, as long as she isn't eating so many that she won't eat the dog food. If she's pregnant, she should be getting puppy food for the extra calories and nutritional support, and should stay on puppy food until the pups are weaned. Try putting the puppy food in the rabbit's bowl and giving it to her.

The carrots are good for her....Probably nothing bad in the rabbit food either. When we had Macaws, the dogs used to gobble up every piece of large parrot kibble that fell on the floor. My weimeramer loves asparagus!!

Yeah, it's a bit weird, but all dogs have their quirks, so I wouldn't think it's too weird.

Why don't you try giving her a whole fresh carrot as a snack. I try to give my dogs one every day. It's healthy food and a nice chewie.

... I miss my rabbit. He used to love those carrots. Actually, he liked the dried bananas in his food best.

no actually it's not weird, dogs will be picky eaters if you let them.... start feeding her a quality puppy food too since she's pregnant, and after she has the puppies spay her. There are too many puppies dying every day for your dog to be adding to the problem. Hell the majority of the puppies she's going to have are probably going to be put to sleep in a shelter themselves.

No, it's not bad that she eats carrots. But she should get a least a tablespoon of yogurt or a calcium supplement by now and divide her meals into a few smaller meals a day instead of one big one.

LOL My Dachshund loves carrots. The vet said as long as she likes veggies (and they like her) to let her have a few now and then. He did say not to let her have too many veggise as they can give her diareha.

I don't see why it should hurt your dog or her babies...My dog loves hamster mix, especially the biscuits! I think it's because it is so crunchy and crisp! My previous dog wouldn't eat his dinner unless he had some pieces of raw carrot with it! LOL!
