How long is a fish's memory?

what can we use scissor wise to get it flat on top of the head for a shihtzu dog.I dont want to keep going to the groomers but I am pretty sure they dont use clippers there right? it is done with scossors but how do we have it not uneven and sticking out?

We have a 117lb Rott/Lab mix and he's already jumped a 4 ft chain-link fence. We were going to try an electric fence but have been told that, due to the thick muscles around his neck, he will not feel the shock. Is this true? We prefer not to use a privacy fence since we are surrounded by beautiful hills and trees. We can spend up to $5,000. Thanks for your help.

i bought a horse in april this year, when we were at a show a man recognised her as a horse he used to own. he has since then forwarded her breeding papers to us. she is by a usa horse called Big Sink Hope, who is a very well known and sort after horse in ireland. i have been trying to get a photo of him just to see what he looks like. i try to trace all my horses and have pics of all their parents but this one has me stumped. if he is such a well known horse why are there no photos of him anywhere, if there are why cant i find them. i would be greatful for any help with this. thanks, pauline.

I think my tank is going through it. I've had it up and running for two months, making normal water changes, and all of a sudden, everything is going crazy!

My water is hard. I don't know what that affects, but it is hard. How do I fix it?

and my Alkalinity is REALLY low. like, 40KH. I don't know what alkalinity does, but I know it should be between 120 and 180. Not 40. Is there any water treatment I could get that could fix it? I only have 18 dollars right now, but if I wait until friday, I'll have more.

Also, the oxygen in my tank is low. My fish were up at the tank gasping for air yesterday, so I lowered the water level a little (so the filter splashes more and adds more water) but they were still gasping for air this morning. I lowered it some more, and now they're not gasping, but I'm worried that the current in the tank might be too strong, especially with all my other issues.
