it varies if well kept and tank conditions are checked regularly fish can live for up to 10 years a fully grown fish takes up to 5 years to reach maturity.
regarding feeding many people have different ideas on feeding i feed mine once in the morning and blood worm every 3 days and algae wafers for my plec every 2 days ,i made the mistake of feeding to much and had very high nitrite levels.

How long they will live depends on how well you maintain your tank. Regular cleaning of the filtration system and routine partial water changes are key. And daily water tests so that you can keep the balance right. Don't over feed! Once a day is generally plenty. Also, keep at least one scavenger type fish (pleco, Chinese algae eater, etc). Kuhli loaches are excellent because they will eat whatever they find on the floor of the tank but you won't see them much because they like to burrow into the gravel (or whatever your substrate is) and hide. With aquariums, less is better. I maintain 8 tanks ranging in sizes from 10 gal quarantine tanks up to a 150 gal ciclid tank. Some of my fish have been with me for several years. Also, don't over-populate your tank and if you do have one that dies, get it out of the tank as soon as you notice it. It's really just about basic maintenance. There are several good books and a multitude of great information on the internet.

If fish are maintained properly they can live much longer than their "normal" lifespans,(length of life in the wild). Koi can live 70 years, goldfish 25. I recently lost a Synodontis catfish that was over 20, and an Albino Tiger Oscar that was 15 years old.
I feed my fish once a day, a very small feeding. I've been feeding this schedule for several years, and my fish thrive. The secret to longevity in fish is clean water, and water is much easier to keep clean if the feedings are few and small.
If you look at the instructions on fish food containers you will see that the fish food companies recommend 3 or 4 feedings a day,I would too, if I wanted to sell fish food.

how long a fish lives depends on the fish -- if you throw out the extremities its usually between 1 and 20 years and average is around 3-8 years. there is a lot of variance by fish. these are of course in optimal conditions.
i feed once a day -- all they can eat in 2 minutes and usually skip at least one day a week. you can suppliment with vegetation -- either aquarium plants that double as a salad bar or add some cooked salad greens to their diet.

Always give them less food than you think they need. :) Rotting food in the tank will kill them faster than anything else. Some people feed their fish twice a day, others once a day. But fish being cold-blooded creatures need far less food than an endothermic one.
The most important thing is adequate filtration and regular water changes.

It is very irresponsible for you to do such "research" on here.
All of the answers to your questions depend on a lot of variables, most importantly the type of fish. Since you don't even get that you should not take responsibility for the life of a fish.

it all depends on the type of fish... goldfish live 20yrs while tetras live about 3-5yrs, what type of fish are you asking about? most fish should be fed once a day.
