My dog's name is Holly, she is a year and a half and i got her for my 12th birthday last year and i never had a dog (of my own) but we had and still have the family dog but he is small. And Holly is really wild and i can't let her sleep in my room because she will eat everything, but i really want to train her.

I want to train her to always stay by me even without a leach, and not run away. I also want to train her to chew on my stuff and to not eat my rat.

I know i should have trained her last year but i was young and didn't know how, so can anyone please tell me how to and don't send me links. Oh and one more thing, if i teach her to do something by giving her a treat next time she will only do it if i have a treat... and i don't want that.

We just got a mostly white boxer, his back has a fawn kind of cape. We have heard we are not suppoed to breed them. We are planning to get a fawn female later to breed. He is AKC papered. And the vet didnt know. Does anyone have any sites or info that would help. If he isnt able to be bred we are going to keep him anyways. He's just tooo cute!

I have a female newfoundland that is a very picky eater. She seems to only eat enough to keep her from starving, but not enough to keep her weight up. Her activity level is normal and she seems to be a very happy dog. I just can't get her to eat or to gain weight that she really needs. Any ideas?

I already bought my 7 yr old the bowl and fish for her b-day (prior to researching and reading that bowls are "fish prisons" as one person stated). I cannot afford, nor do i have room for a tank, the bowl is on a very small childs desk (not big enough to hold a tank and I have no where else to put it). The fish we purchased died in less than 24 hrs but I cleaned the bowl w/ only hot water and a brand new sponge, treated the water becase our town has a high chlorine content and floated the bag so it would be used to the water temp. We fed it floating flakes (just a tiny pinch) and a few hours it was on its side eating bubbles at the surface and having trouble swimming upright. I read that that can be "swimbladder" but I only had it a few hours before it stared acting funny and it seemed fine when I brought it home. Please help me, my daughter wants to try again but I don't know what we did wrong the first time!

What are some healthy chewing possibilities for a two to three old Chihuaha? She likes chewing on things. So we have some rawhides. She does not get them into pieces but she is just chewing on it.

She gets very jealous, I dont have kids but she always has to be in between me and my husband whether were on the couch, kisssing and even in the bed, it gets annoying, like having a kid around and no personal time. Well I'm afraid she will be sad when i go back to work, I'm not sure if i should get her a friend, my husband says no! But just when I leave to go to the store or somewhere, you can hear her in the house from outside barking and whining, please help me make my desicion! Thanks Yall!

I have a 5 lbs Yorkie who suffers from Weed allergies. I've been giving him Benadryl for Kids (12.5 mg) twice a day (1/2 pill per dose) for the past 5 days. How long should I keep giving him the medecine. I tried giving him only one dose yesterday, but he was almost chewing off his front leg from scratching and knawing at it.
