Hello, I have 2 cats, one is 23lbs and no not overwieght so says the vet he is just a very large cat he is about 4 yrs old. The second is 11lbs and about 3 yrs old. They have lived together with no problems up till now. But now the Big cat is fighting with the little one pretty consistantly and I have no idea why! Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appriciated. Thank you.

They are both males, been together 3 yrs. both fixed. Its not wressling, the big one is latching on hissing and growling. It just started happening in the last week. No major injuries...the big one has scratches (missing hair) on his face and the little one gets chunks of hair, no skin missing. Its horrible.

is it actual fighting or just wrestling?

Are they both fixed? If not, they should be, because they would fight.
Is there any reason the big one may be jealous (not just of the small one, but in general?)or stressed about? I can't figure out any other reason.
